Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse are just weeks away from meeting their first baby. Along the way, Palvin cleared up one pregnancy myth that she says simply isn’t true.
Barbara Palvin sets the record straight on a pregnancy myth and Dylan Sprouse agrees
Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse shut down a common pregnancy myth in a new Babylist video. In the clip, the couple browsed baby gear together while chatting about her pregnancy. At one point, the model was asked if there was “a pregnancy myth” she found out wasn’t true. She quickly pointed to the idea that pregnant women become hormonal and difficult to live with, calling it “a total myth.” Sprouse agreed right away, backing her up completely.
Palvin also opened up about a few surprises along the way. She admitted that morning sickness lasted far longer than she expected, noting it isn’t just a morning thing but something that lingers throughout the day. She joked that women seem to forget just how rough it was after giving birth, since so few talk about it honestly.
Sleep has also become a struggle in these final weeks. Palvin compared herself to “a rotisserie chicken” while trying to shift positions in bed, joking that pregnancy is “a gift,” just a “heavy” one. Sprouse also shared a lighthearted detail about Palvin’s pregnancy cravings. Instead of food, he said her only real craving has been gambling. To keep her occupied, Sprouse said he got her into opening Pokémon card packs instead of sports betting.
Throughout the video, the couple tried out several nursery essentials together. They tested a motion-sensing baby swing, a convertible crib, and a bamboo sleep sack. Sprouse, known for his early role in “Big Daddy,” even got asked how it feels becoming a real one soon. He jokingly admitted he was nervous.
By the end of their Babylist haul, Palvin and Sprouse said they finally feel ready for their baby’s arrival. Palvin shared that just days earlier, she felt completely unprepared, with nothing set up at home. Now, she said the only thing left to do is bring their baby into the freshly done nursery.
