On August 26, Michelle spoke about raising two adult daughters who had since moved to Los Angeles. Both daughters had finished college and moved to LA to pursue their careers and independent lives. She also said she was enjoying having more freedom in her own life.
During an August 31 appearance on The Megyn Kelly Show, Jesse Kelly spoke with Megyn Kelly about modern parenting challenges, and the duo took a dig at Michelle. Megyn said, “I was not aware she’s a sociopath who feels nothing for her children other than disdain. Oh, wait. I was kind of aware.”
The former Fox News anchor went on to criticize Michelle as both a wife and a mother. She further accused Michelle of disliking her years as first lady and repeatedly belittling her husband’s feelings. Megyn said, “Obviously he’s the sentimental one between the two of them.” And added, “I think the reason he was probably trying to hold it in was that he’s married to a stone-cold sociopath.”
The host continued, “Just get a divorce. The children are grown; get a divorce. Barack Obama would have no trouble finding someone who would actually love him, root for him, and have stars in her eyes for him. No trouble whatsoever. They should get a divorce. Honestly, it’s very clear they don’t love each other.”
Netizens wasted no time calling out her remarks, with many expressing their disapproval. One of them wrote, “Bulls**t! She’s always happy and has two master’s degrees! Didn’t have to sleep with anyone to get ahead!! She can be seen in public laughing with George W, too. You’re f**king pathetic.” Another commenter questioned why she cared so much, asking why she was “so obsessed with other women.” The commenter added that someone could make the same criticism about her own rants.
Megyn had previously targeted Michelle over the portrait unveiled for the new presidential center. The controversy came in July, when Megyn responded to Michelle’s comments about the painting. Michelle had said it represented her husband being comfortable with a “smart, challenging partner.” Megyn, however, interpreted the remarks differently and alleged that she hated her husband and “can’t stand him.”
