In the May 9 episode of “The Pre-Game With Kayla Nicole” podcast, Kayla Nicole, who was previously romantically linked with Travis Kelce, shared she took the dogs with her when a past relationship came to an end. The revelation came while the guest, Nazanin Mandi, was talking about how she and her ex-husband Miguel each have custody of one of their cats. This was when Nicole claimed, “I have dogs with the previous partner, and I got both the dogs.”
Nicole continued to share that she got “full responsibility” for the pets after the breakup. She then got candid about the expenses and said, “I had a dog bill the other day that was $2,000.” While Nicole never mentioned who the ex was by name, she was seemingly talking about Kelce. PEOPLE reported that the former couple, who were in an on-and-off relationship from 2017 to 2022, shared dogs Chauncey and Rambo.
While talking about the expenses, Nicole added, “I love my kids,” and Mandi chipped in and said, “No, they’re expensive.” The model’s split custody of the cats with her ex also prompted the podcaster to ask the former how they made that decision, calling it “impressive.” Mandi shared that it “naturally happened.”
After the episode’s guest explained the custody dynamics, Nicole responded, “That speaks to the relationship that you guys still have.” The internet personality added, “That means that you guys are in a good, healthy, safe space for you to be able to make adult decisions.”
