Well, so much for just friends! After coming out of the Celebrity Big Brother house and swearing up and down that they were “platonic,” JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes were just spotted kissing. It all went down while the two were vacationing in Mexico. Unless she was giving him mouth-to-mouth, it definitely looks like this relationship has escalated.

In case you’re not caught up on this saga, let’s get you up to speed. When JoJo went into the CBB house, she was in a committed relationship with a person named Kath Ebbs. They were in love until Kath sat at home watching in horror as JoJo started flirting with Chris from Love Island.
Immediately after exiting the Celebrity Big Brother house, JoJo dumped Kath. However, she and Chris went on the UK’s This Morning, and they said that there was nothing romantic between them. They said they just developed a really great friendship. JoJo specifically used the word “platonic.”
That wasn’t even a month ago, and now The Sun published pictures of them smooching in a pool. And to be clear, this wasn’t just a quick smooch. They were straddling a pool floatie together and kissing right in the middle of the pool.
A source who was staying at the same resort saw it firsthand, and they spilled all of the details about their romantic dynamic. They said they looked “very loved-up” and “very hands-on” while packing on the PDA throughout their stay at the adults-only resort.
“They spent their time at the hotel holding hands and looked like a giddy couple in the early throes of love,” the insider said.
So, congrats to the happy couple. They might not have won Celebrity Big Brother, but it looks like they walked away with something even better.
