Braun claimed that he “is rooting for” the Canadian pop star and recalled how they achieved “extreme success” as a team.

Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun have maintained their artist-manager relationship since 2008. They ended their professional partnership in 2023 when the singer left SB Projects (SBP), the management company. Since their separation, speculation regarding their fallout and Bieber owing millions to Braun has circulated on the internet.
However, in a recent episode of “The Diary of a CEO” podcast, the former manager talked about their bond. He said, “[It’s] not that same that it was.” Braun supported Bieber’s decision and stated, “I think you get to a point as a man where you want to show the world you can do it on your own, and I completely respect that. I think at this point that’s what he’s doing.” While he defended and praised the singer, the record executive also clarified his side. The 43-year-old music mogul mentioned that he also wanted to “experiment” and try out a “different career.”
Meanwhile, the pop star has been on the receiving end of fans’ criticism due to his financial struggles. Reportedly, he owes money to Braun after Bieber’s Justice World Tour came to a halt in 2022. The financial situation has allegedly put a strain on his personal life with his wife, Hailey Bieber.
His back-to-back cryptic posts on social media seemingly added fuel to the couple’s ongoing divorce rumors. According to several reports, Hailey’s friends were apparently concerned about her and their son, Jack. One of his latest Instagram posts mentioned “Tired of transactional relationships” in the caption.
