The Valley has given viewers quite the season thus far. The cast has come in hot with not one but two major divorces. Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright have dominated the headlines. Between his Big Brother spying and rage texts from rehab, the group has really rallied around B. But left behind in the dust is Michelle Saniei. The mother of one has also been going through her own toxic divorce from Jesse Lally, but no one seems to care.
Michelle Saniei doesn’t think The Valley cast are supporting her
Since Season 2 premiered, Michelle has made it clear that she doesn’t feel like she is getting the same support from The Valley cast. Instead, she has been pushed into a corner and forced to watch as her friend is given the red carpet treatment. And viewers are quickly learning that Michelle doesn’t like being put in a corner. It’s odd how even fans have overlooked Michelle’s toxic situation. I mean, Jesse did call his soon-to-be ex-wife a high-end escort.
Who could forget the Dave and Buster’s party gone wrong? While everyone was laughing at Janet Caperna’s fanny pack, Michelle was left alone to defend herself against allegations made by Jesse. He came up with a whole timeline about her having cheated. And his smoking gun? A run at Runyon with a full face of makeup on. I mean, it wasn’t exactly rock solid evidence. But instead of rallying around her, the group decided it would be a neat idea to head to Santa Barbara on Jesse’s dime.
Brittany Cartwright is being treated like a queen amid her separation from Jax Taylor
On the flip side, Brittany is being treated like a queen. Everyone has seen and heard Jax’s outburst and naturally feels bad for her. The girls, especially, have made sure to stand by Brittany’s side in her time of need. This has included multiple pool parties, dinners, night outs, and group hugs. Michelle has also been a part of the sisterhood, but it’s starting to tire her out. Could it be that the women are choosing to ignore Michelle’s plight?
Even the men of the group seem to be standing firm with Jax. Jason Caperna has been in constant touch with the bar owner and Jesse is making sure to stick up for him. In turn, it seems the boys are also supporting Jesse during his time of need. The straw that broke the camel’s back for Michelle was when she saw how much effort her friends put into transforming Jax’s Studio City into Britt’s. No one has done anything like that for Michelle. And I bet that stings.
Where do Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei stand on their divorce?
Jesse and Michelle are still very much separated. And both have moved on to other relationships. The current season is showing Jesse being very skeptical and even claiming,“Michelle and I had a conversation before the summer where she admitted to cheating on me. I’m 90 percent sure that this person was Aaron, and if it wasn’t, then she cheated on me twice.” Jesse even claimed he was so distressed that he lost 40 pounds from not eating and sleeping. But like they say, time heals all wounds. The duo is starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. According to Jesse, the pair is “so close to finalizing the settlement.”
That’s great news compared to earlier in the season when Jesse told The Valley After Show, that he and Michelle “should’ve been able to legally end their marriage in September 2024, until a mediator messed up by not filing certain paperwork.” At the time, Michelle had claimed that Jesse was the one slowing down the process because he was trying to represent himself. Michelle noted, “A part of me thinks that he does it because he does not want me to remarry. He’s like, you know, ‘Let’s just do this forever so that she can’t move on and get married and have kids again.’” But things are looking up for the former couple, and hopefully, Michelle will get a friend to lean on before the season finale.
The Valley is available to stream on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
