On Love Island USA Season 7, Chelley Bissainthe and Ace Green are currently coupled up. Meanwhile, the internet is running wild with rumors that they had a major connection prior to entering the villa. Some folks have even suggested that they have a secret baby running around somewhere while they’re living it up in Fiji.
Although Chelley and Ace are still sequestered in the villa, someone close to Chelley has taken over her Instagram to shut down the rumors. They admitted that Ace and Chelley met before entering the villa, but the rest of the rumors? They’re just as far-fetched as they sound.
Chelley Bissainthe and Ace Green briefly “crossed paths” before Love Island USA
“We want to be transparent and clear the air as some of the rumors have gotten far from the truth,” a statement shared on Chelley’s Instagram on Thursday, June 19 began. “Chelley and Ace briefly crossed paths in New York and later connected on social media.”
On the show, Ace and Chelley admitted that they briefly met. It’s not clear why viewers took that information and spun it into such a wild theory. Either way, whoever has access to Chelley’s phone right now has made things crystal clear. This isn’t like a Sneaky Links on Netflix situation. Ace and Chelley didn’t have a romantic connection before entering the villa.
“They were never in a relationship, never lived together, and there are no children or hidden past,” Chelley explained. “What’s unfolding now is real, unscripted, and could change at any moment.”
We’ll see how things unfold, but for now, Chelley and Ace seem to be going strong. He chose her over bombshell Iris Kendall, and said he felt like she was making him a better person in the villa.
He gushed, “She’s gorgeous. Every time she walks those stars, no matter who she’s with, she lights up the room. I’m just excited to get to know her every day.”
