While the world could not stop talking about the entrepreneur’s master deal, it’s her dad, Stephen Baldwin, who is super proud of her achievements.
Baldwin recently opened up about his youngest daughter’s business deal in a podcast. During the recent episode of “The Adam Carolla Show,” when the host asked Baldwin about the $1 billion Rhode deal, the 59-year-old actor reacted to the news, saying it took “Hailey three years” to build the company. Talking more about Bieber’s entrepreneurial journey, the dad said that his daughter is “super smart, smart in business,” and she also “succeeded as a model prior to everything she’s doing now.”
Hailey Bieber’s dad then revealed that the model received a big deal from a company at the beginning of her career, but she declined the offer as she wanted to start her own line, Rhode. She wanted the products to mean something, as in the company “wouldn’t just be BS” where she simply “put her name on it.”
“But the cool part was she actually had an offer to do something pretty big and cool in the cosmetics a couple years ago and didn’t,” the actor told the podcast host, adding that the “reason it’s succeeding is cause folks are responding to it.” Baldwin is surely a proud dad and is happy that his daughter is making a name for herself in the industry.
