Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s relationship has been making the headlines lately. The duo grabbed the attention when they started dating again in 2021 before tying the knot in July 2022. However, Lopez took everyone by surprise when she filed for divorce from Affleck in August 2024. The former couple legally parted ways in January 2025.
And now, a source told GLOBE that J.Lo fears her ex-husband “will give a warts-and-all account of his life, including the full, uncensored details of their relationship” in a podcast with best friend Matt Damon.
As per the insider, when the couple was together, “the topic of a possible tell-all came up a few times.” However, at the time, “Ben reassured her that he’d never do a cheesy kiss-and-tell type story.” Now, Affleck is reportedly getting a hefty fee for the podcast, leaving the pop icon worried as she knows “that money talks.”
The friends, who founded a production company called Artists Equity, aim to establish a large fan base for their show with this podcast. According to the insider, a “weekly show” from the duo “would be a cheap way to crank up cash flow and create a direct line to their fans like never before.”
The “Good Will Hunting” star is also keen to share his side of the story as he is “fed up with some of the false narratives” about how he treated the pop singer. Now, with the podcast, Affleck is reportedly looking forward to bare it all, thus causing “a lot of angst” as Lopez is concerned “over how it will play out.”
