Katy Perry recently made heads turn with a classy fashion statement at Paris Fashion Week (PFW). The singer attended the Balenciaga’s 2025 couture show on July 9 wearing a double-breasted black minidress and clear glasses. Her first official appearance comes a week after confirming her separation from fiancé Orlando Bloom.

The pop sensation even shared her getting-ready look on Instagram, captioning the carousel, “mindin’ my business @balenciaga,” which instantly became viral among her fans. The 40-year-old took a break from her ongoing “Lifetimes” tour to attend Balenciaga’s salon on Avenue George V for designer Demna’s final couture collection. The singer attended the show alongside Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts, Lorde, Kim Kardashian, newlywed Lauren Sánchez Bezos, Pinault, Cardi B, and Salma Hayek.

This is the third time the pop icon is attending the couture show of the brand. When asked about what she likes about designer Demna’s creations, Perry told WWD, “All of the materials, though they look distressed and dystopian, were always of the highest quality, so you had that feeling inside of you of luxury, while still maintaining your own sense of style and cool.”

Speaking more about the Georgian fashion designer, the mom of one said that he “follows his compass, and that’s hard to do when you’re part of a big, big company. It’s a fight.” Perry was recently in the news for parting ways with her fiancé Bloom after being together for nine years. The ex-couple are now reportedly focusing on co-parenting their 4-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove.

On the work front, the singer’s “Lifetimes” tour will continue in North America until August 23. Her tour’s next leg will begin in South America, Europe, and Asia. The tour will finally wrap up in Abu Dhabi on December 7.
