Earlier this year, Hayu announced the cast of The Real Housewives of London, its first-ever original series. The show has yet to air, but one of the women is already telling us everything we need to know about her.
Juliet Mayhew, who describes herself as a former actress and philanthropist, spent last weekend celebrating the wedding of Laurence Fox, a far-right online personality known for spewing hate. Is this Housewives material? We’re not so sure.
Laurence Fox has burnt Pride flags and been called out for racism

Months after Hayu announced The Real Housewives of London, insiders said the producers were facing a casting crisis because they couldn’t find women willing to sign up. It seems like they ended up having to scrape the bottom of the barrel.
If you’re not familiar with Juliet’s friend Laurence, he’s a former actor who failed at a political career. Now, he’s one of those people who makes a living from throwing out problematic comments online. Burning Pride flags and referring to drag performers as “pedophiles” are just a couple of examples of the obnoxious ways he stirs up controversy.
As the Daily Mail reported, Laurence and his wife tied the knot on Saturday, July 5. Real Housewives of London’s Juliet was among many of the attendees, and she was all smiles in photos shared from the event.
Laurence celebrated the special occasion on Twitter/X by writing, “T’was the finest gathering of far right extremists the world did ever see. What a wonderful day!”
Of course, we know there are plenty of Housewives on Bravo who dabble in right-wing spaces. But a Housewife proudly parading around with a guy with a mile-long resume of bigotry takes things to a different level. Regardless, Season 1 of RHOLDN has wrapped filming, with Juliet at the center of the action.
The Real Housewives of London arrives on Hayu later this year.
