Why McBee Dynasty’s Jesse Almost Called off Wedding to Alli Ventresca

Season 2 of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys is on, and wedding bells are ringing. Well … kind of. Right now viewers are getting a close look into Jesse McBee and his now-wife Alli Ventresca McBee’s relationship. The two are engaged and looking forward to their special day. There’s just one thing getting in their way, and that’s their living arrangements.

The two have moved into a home of their own, but it’s quite a ways away from the McBee farm. And with Steven McBee Sr. under investigation by the FBI, it’s all hands on deck over there. Jesse wants to be close to the farm, but Alli wants them to enjoy their first home together. Is this really a big deal for these high school sweethearts? Yes, yes it is. In fact, it’s the deal breaker.

The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys saw wedding drama for Jesse

In Season 2, Episode 3, Jesse and Alli have a sit-down chat about where they’ll live post-wedding.

During the conversation, Alli made it clear that she was a city girl at heart, and wasn’t fond of the idea of returning to farm life. This, of course, is the opposite of what Jesse wants for them, despite building their dream home in the city.

“Is that gonna be, like, a dealbreaker for you,” was the question Alli asked him, to which he replied, “I would say, yeah.”

The cowboy continued to double-down on his claim that not being on the same page would wreck their marriage plans.

“I don’t feel comfortable getting married if we’re not gonna be able to live together.”

Fast forward to now, and the couple went through with their engagement and got married. But, location still proves to be an issue within their relationship. Alli recently revealed in an interview that they are still going back and forth between their new home and the McBee farm. She also admitted that she finds this challenging to manage, especially with a newborn.

The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys airs Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo, and releases the next day on Peacock. It’s also available to stream on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
