Kim Kardashian has once again proven why she is a true fashion icon with her latest bodysuit pictures. The SKIMS founder recently appeared in Thierry Mugler’s vintage bodysuit and captivated everyone’s heart with her bold look. The fashionista showed off her sheer bodysuit in the new behind-the-scenes Instagram photos, and as expected, her close friends, including Lauren Sanchez and Katy Perry, went gaga over her look.

Kim Kardashian appears in Mugler bodysuit that her friends love

Kim Kardashian’s love for vintage fashion is well-known, and her latest outfit is proof of it. On July 22, in an Instagram post of her hotel room fitting, the SKIMS founder proudly showed herself dressed in Thierry Mugler’s vintage bodysuit, captioning the carousel, “Mugler Magic.” The reality TV star shone in a full sheer black bodysuit with a dramatic high-neck. The dress also had symmetrical sequin panels strategically placed on the mesh material.

To add the glam quotient, Kardashian paired the attire with a furry black floor-length coat. She kept the rest of the look minimal with light make-up and hair pulled up in a tight topknot, allowing the sheer dress to do all the talking. According to Grazia, the business mogul’s outfit originally debuted on the runway in July 1998. It is an archival piece from the Mugler’s Fall/Winter 1998 couture collection.

Kardashian’s look in the vintage outfit impressed everyone online. Her close friends, which includes Katy Perry, Lauren Sanchez, and Ivanka Trump, gave a huge shout-out to the 44-year-old star. “TEN OUTTA TEN,” wrote Perry, while Trump mentioned the look as, “Wowzer !!! Incredible !.” Even newlywed Sánchez chimed in and said, “This is just amazing.”

This is not the first time Kardashian has appeared in Mugler’s stunning pieces. The mom of four has previously worn multiple pieces of the iconic designer. She wore a bridal-white corset with hot pants at the October 2024 Academy Museum Gala from Mugler’s Spring 1998 couture collection. She even wowed everyone at the 2019 Met Gala with a custom latex corset dress completed with crystals and beads. The outfit, which took eight months to complete, was designed by Mugler himself before he passed away in 2022.
