A video showed Prince William in dad mode as he talked to a mother and her baby while attending the Royal Cornwall Show earlier this year. The Prince of Wales stepped out for the royal outing on June 6 in Wadebridge, England, with his aunt, Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh. The mother, Anna Rebecca, has now shared a video of the heartwarming moment when William stopped for a sweet interaction with the baby named George.
Rebecca greeted the prince and said, “Hello! Nice to meet you.” William softly tickled the baby’s belly and asked the little one’s name. The baby shares the same name as his and Kate Middleton’s eldest son, Prince George. The royal couple is also parents to Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Meanwhile, William complimented the baby’s top and continued to ask how old the infant was. Rebecca replied that George was seven months old.
The prince further adored the baby, saying, “He’s so sweet.” William also said to George, “You’re very smiley.” The member of the royal family later then asked the mother if her baby was “sleeping well.” Rebecca answered, “Now he is!” Before waving goodbye, William sweetly told George, “You enjoy your tractors, mister.”
Meanwhile, the cute moment has been garnering attention on the internet and has racked up almost two million views at the time of writing. Several users also took to the Instagram Reel’s comments section to praise Prince William’s gesture for the mother and her son.
