Survivor 50’s Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick Slammed for Anti-Semitic Remarks Aimed at Eliza Orlins

Can one person single-handedly sink Survivor 50? It looks like Stephenie LaGrossa wants to find out. She’s in a nasty feud with her fellow Survivor alum, Eliza Orlins, and things just took a really gross turn.

The drama started when Eliza uploaded a takedown of Stephenie on her Substack titled “The Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick Files: MAGA, Misinformation, and Deleted Receipts.” When Stephenie replied to Eliza, she took things in a shocking, anti-Semitic direction.

In an Instagram video screen recorded by Daily Mail, Stephenie went off on Eliza for exposing her right-wing political affiliations. During her response, she took things a step in the wrong direction when she attacked Eliza’s Jewish background.

“Don’t come at me with your political status when you’re f*cking Jewish,” Stephenie said in the since-deleted clip. “Your parents are 1% of the population of wealth.”

“Don’t you dare try to say I’m some right-wing bigot. Don’t you say that I’m some anti-f*cking gay sh*t,” she continued.

Stephenie concluded, “If you think you’re gonna try to f*cking ruin me for one second, you’re sadly mistaken. Good luck, bitch.”

It’s a gross response and clearly anti-Semitic. Fortunately, plenty of Survivor fans were quick to denounce it. Either way, Stephenie’s problematic behavior feels especially ill-timed. She is part of the cast for the landmark Season 50 of Survivor.

The highly anticipated season has already been filmed, leaving some insiders fearful that Stephenie just sank the show’s shot at success. One crew member told Daily Mail that their group chat lit up when Stephenie’s anti-Semitic video started making the rounds on social media.

“My heart sank and my blood ran cold,” the crew member said. “Stephenie is a huge part of Survivor, and she’s going to be a big character on the biggest season ever for the franchise. We’ve already filmed, so I guess there’s not a lot we can do.”

Meanwhile, Eliza said that she didn’t feel surprised by Stephenie’s video. According to her, this is the exact type of behavior that prompted the initial exposé.

“I’m not surprised by Stephenie’s defamatory or bigoted remarks because I’ve known her for nearly 20 years,’ she said. ‘I didn’t know she was anti-Semitic – but again, given her history and the fascistic president she supports, it’s not surprising,” Eliza told the outlet.

Survivor is streaming on Paramount+ and Season 49 premieres on Wednesday, September 24, at 8/7c on CBS.
