Trigger Warning: This article contains a discussion of domestic violence allegations and suicide.
There are lots of disturbing things in this story, so please brace yourself. The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus has a son named Mingus Reedus whom he shares with model Helena Christensen. Mingus just got arrested for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend, although his lawyer has a completely different story about what happened. Either way, Mingus made a shocking comment to a reporter, and the entire saga has people feeling concerned.
Norman Reedus’ son made the disturbing threat after being arrested

The drama with Mingus started on Saturday, August 24. According to Page Six, police were called to a Manhattan address after receiving a call about a female who had taken pills and threatened to commit suicide. Upon investigation, police alleged that Mingus punched a female victim in the leg. They said he choked her before slamming her to the ground.
The cops charged Mingus with criminal obstruction of breathing, third-degree assault, reckless physical injury, aggravated harassment, and second-degree harassment. He pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.
On his way out of the courthouse, Mingus allegedly looked at a female reporter from The Post and called her “ugly.” The next day, he was spotted outside of his apartment. Disturblingly, he asked another reporter from the outlet, “You want to watch me kill myself?”
Despite the string of alarming behavior. Mingus has a lawyer named Priya Chaudhry, who is defending him and throwing out a different story about what unfolded prior to the arrest. She claimed that Mingus broke up with his girlfriend, which led to her taking “sleeping pills” and attempting suicide.
It’s worth pointing out that Mingus’ lawyer previously represented Jonathan Majors, the disgraced Marvel actor. According to this lawyer, the ex-girlfriend is “not afraid’ of Mingus and doesn’t want to press charges against him. Either way, he’s been ordered to stay away from the victim. His famous parents can’t get him out of this one.
