Kim Kardashian is being called out by fans anew. This time it’s for allowing her 12-year-old daughter, North West to wear a mini skirt and a black corset while the two are on vacation in Rome. Some folks say it’s not age-appropriate for a pre-teen.
However, North has always exhibited a taste for fashion. She’s always in unique outfits that showcase her personal style. She previously posted a TikTok video of her and her young friends dressed for Coachella. And while it wasn’t a corset or mini, the girls did dress a bit older for their age.

This time, the fans are focused on the corset. North towered over her mom as she paired her skirt and top with platform boots, glasses, and a black heart-shaped bag. Her blue ombré hair was styled in pigtails.
She was photographed with her mom as they left dinner at Pierluigi over the weekend. Kim was in a tight black dress with hints of black lace. Both girls sported a hint of fashionable goth vibe. And this isn’t the first time the duo has had a “twin” fashion moment.
Mother and daughter previously had a fun night out in matching fur (Kim from her coat and North from her hat). The two enjoy spending time together, whether it’s going to basketball games or enjoying a spa date.
This time, however, fans of the pair had a lot of thoughts about North’s sartorial choices. Despite being fashion-forward, the corset was perhaps one of the more grown-up pieces of clothing North has worn, and netizens weren’t afraid to speak their minds online.
“Not a fan of a bustier on a 12-year-old,” one fan wrote. “Love Kim and North, but it would have been a no ma’am for me.”
Another added, “So inappropriate, Kim.”
“The skirt and boots are fine, but a corset on a 12-year-old is a little out of hand,” said another. “And this is coming from a fashion designer who designs for exotic dancers.”
Some fans defended North and Kim, though saying North “looked cute” and that it wasn’t anyone’s business what The Kardashians star allows her daughter to wear.
