After reportedly breaking up last month, Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade Giannulli seem to have rekindled their relationship. Sources have told PEOPLE that the pair are now “seeing each other again.”
The insider added that although the couple has been in an on-and-off-again relationship since 2021, “they still talk all the time and remain close friends,” as Giannulli’s “family really likes” the actor. Moreover, they “have the same circle of friends.”
The news of their getting back together comes a few days after the 25-year-old influencer was seen alongside the actor at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8. Although the duo didn’t walk the red carpet together, they entered the theater together. The actor was even seen carrying the train of her dress, hinting they might be back together.
Confirming their rekindled romance, Us Weekly’s source has also revealed that the couple is now together and giving their relationship “another shot.” The insider added that Elordi and Giannulli have “been on and off for many months and recently reconnected in NYC.” However, the duo “aren’t putting a label on it.” As per the source, “They are trying to see if the relationship will work again.”
The news of their linkup first started doing the rounds in December 2021. The couple reportedly called off their relationship in August 2022 before returning together in July 2023. The duo parted ways again in August of this year before reuniting.
However, now Us Weekly sources have revealed that “there is deep rooted love between them.” The couple, despite their busy schedules, “are making more of an effort this time to prioritize each other.” As per the insider, “Both are approaching things with more maturity, taking it slow, and seeing where it goes.”
