Ray J is in the news yet again, and for an unflattering reason. The singer-actor has the internet baffled because of a strange request to the internet personality IShowSpeed. He shared that he wants to have a “shower stream” with IShowSpeed.
Ray J shows interest in showering with IShowSpeed
On September 14, during his Houston livestream, IShowSpeed agreed to get Ray J on board his livestream via FaceTime. The conversation was flowing smoothly until Ray J declared his intentions to shower with the 20-year-old internet streaming personality. Ray J declared without any inhibitions, “Yo, Speed! I’m trying to do the shower stream too.”
Taken aback, IShowSpeed tried to handle the situation without any controversy, wondering what Ray J was even talking about. But Ray J was adamant about what he said previously and brought up IShowSpeed’s recent moment with Kai Cenat.
“Bro, you got in the shower with Kai [Cenat], I was trying to double up,” Ray J replied unabashedly, further adding that he’s a “fan” of what they did. IShowSpeed denied that he and Kai Cenat ever showered together, last August during their Minecraft marathon stream.
However, Ray J was persuasive and asked IShowSpeed to “think about it.” In response, the latter simply said, “Alright.” IShowSpeed continued to deny that he and Kai Cenat ever showered together.
The whole internet witnessed this encounter and shared their two cents on this bizarre conversation and proposal by Ray J.
“Why are dudes asking to shower with another dude?” wrote a user on X, with a GIF that said, “It’s nasty.” Another user commented, “Insane.” Fans praised IShowSpeed’s quick response to the unusual request: “Speed ain’t playing, he declined technically,” accompanied by a laughing emoticon. Finally, another user shared, “Speed thought it was a prank—Ray J out here pitching the wildest collabs like it’s normal.”
For those unversed, earlier this month, Ray J gatecrashed Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 3 stream, stripping down to his underwear. Kai Cenat promptly showed him the door. Notably, Ray J also made some unsavoury remarks on the stream.
