King Charles was reportedly responsible for removing security for Prince Andrew‘s children. And apparently it wasn’t just due to budget cuts. Insiders say it was a deliberate move to put the wayward younger prince in his place.
King Charles stripped Prince Andrew’s children of their police protection

We all know that Prince Andrew has been neck-deep in controversy in recent years. However, he has apparently been at the center of family tension for a lot longer.
His brother King Charles reportedly ordered the removal of state-funded security for Andrew’s daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie in 2011. According to royal insiders, the decision went beyond cost-cutting and served as a calculated power play.
One source told Radar Online: “Charles was fully aware of the impact. Removing Beatrice and Eugenie’s security wasn’t just about saving money. It was aimed squarely at Andrew.”
The source added: “He took it very personally, believing his daughters were being made to suffer for his own actions.”
Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond observed Andrew’s reaction. She said: “I do remember him being very upset, affronted, insulted on behalf of his daughters by Charles’s decision.”
In 2019, Andrew stepped back from royal duties after the public learned of his close ties to Jeffrey Epstein. This ultimately led to the palace stripping him of his royal patronages. Rumors of feuds between him and Charles have persisted.
Despite the tensions, the brothers have managed to maintain a fairly cordial front. Indeed, they appeared in recent photos talking at Katharine, Duchess of Kent’s funeral.
Andrew isn’t the only one to have been at odds with Charles over security. Prince Harry has repeatedly voiced his anger about the removal police protection for him and his family.
