Donald and Melania Trump wanting to use their own bedsheets is preventive measure, says source

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump reportedly wanted to use their own bed sheets while staying at Windsor Castle during their second state visit to the U.K.. Per Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop, a source told them that during their stay, the couple requested separate suites for themselves. They further insisted on using their own bed sheets to sleep on.

The insider claimed that “Everything has to be done their way.” The person continued, “It’s not just a bed — it’s a production.” According to the news outlet, the late Queen Elizabeth and her husband, Prince Philip, famously had separate bedrooms.

Meanwhile, King Charles and his wife, Queen Camilla, have separate homes. King Charles also reportedly travels with his very own “Egyptian cotton sheets.” However, Donald Trump and Melania Trump’s request to use their bed sheets has allegedly created a buzz among the people at Windsor Castle.

Another source informed the news outlet that “It’s a whole new level of fuss.” In the meantime, per other insiders, this bedsheet request was a preventive measure and had little to do with luxury. “When presidents travel, even bedding can be a security issue,” explained a source. The royal watchers have been eager to witness how Donald Trump’s second state visit to the UK will turn out.
