In a historic moment, Princess Kate Middleton stepped out, without other senior royals, to host the First Lady of the United States of America, Melania Trump, during Trumps’ official visit to the United Kingdom. As per People, the duo were captured along with scouts amidst nature.
Kate Middleton and Melania Trump’s joint outing has everyone talking
According to People’s reports, after paying a visit to Queen Mary’s Dolls’ house and the Royal Library at the Windsor Castle with Queen Camilla, Mrs. Trump joined the Princess of Wales at the Frogmore gardens. There, they joined chief scout Dwayne Fields, and a group of junior scouts working towards their “go wild” badges. The young champs, who were between 4 and 6 years old, were busy producing art, sticking inked leaves onto paper, and building mini luxury resorts for bugs from tubes and card boards. Kate and Melania seemed to be soaking in all the fun.
“This is beautiful!”, the first lady remarked as she colored a bear outline with a brown marker. She also added a sun and grass in their true colors, as instructed by the young comrades around her. On the other hand, Princess Kate Middleton sat on the ground nearby, chatting with children. She also joined them in an ecstatic parachute game, laughing as the kids jumbled beneath, pushing the balls out. Kate had also prepared a special packed lunch — sandwiches made with honey from her home at Anmer Hall. Meanwhile, Melania gifted jars of honey from the White House to each kid.
Princess of Wales and Melania Trump concluded the day, awarding the “go wild” badges to all the young scouts. In return, both ladies were honored with the same badges by two of the children.
