Four grandchildren are not enough for Donna Kelce.
Her oldest son and former NFL player Jason, has given her four granddaughters, and now she’s looking for more from Travis Kelce and his fiancée Taylor Swift. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and pop icon had been dating since 2023 and were officially engaged in August.
On Monday’s episode of the podcast New Heights, starring Jason and Travis, the latter admitted that his mom has “put some pressure” on him to have a baby with Taylor. Travis is coming off his team’s first win of the 2025 season, with Kansas City defeating the New York Giants 22-9 on Sunday.

Mothers will never publicly play favorites with their kids. However, when Jason and his wife began having children, Donna apparently began warming up to him more.
In the latest New Heights episode, Jason said his mom has “always had Travis No. 1. Travis quickly responded to that by saying, “right now, [Donna] has Jason at No. 1 because he has kids.”
The conversation about kids arose when the brothers asked guest Deion Sanders to rank his children. The Football Hall of Famer has five children, two of whom are currently in the NFL: Shilo and Shedeur.
Travis’ bride-to-be has seemingly had mixed feelings about the possibility of being a mom in the past. In 2012, she said she wanted “a minimum of four” children. Two years later, she appeared less enthusiastic about the idea due to the amount of attention her baby would receive with cameras always following her around. That is unlikely to change when she and Travis tie the knot.
In one of his shows last year, Travis joked about baby names, subtly suggesting he might become a father one day.
