Prince William Calls 2024 the ‘Hardest Year’ of His Life in Candid Interview

Prince William recently revealed that 2024 was the “hardest year” of his life. In a candid interview with Eugene Levy, the Prince of Wales is set to shed light on how his life has been lately. Apple TV+ released a preview clip of their show, “The Reluctant Traveler,” featuring the two men. The “Schitt’s Creek” alum will visit the palace to meet and chat with the future king.

Prince William will soon feature in an episode of Apple TV+’s “The Reluctant Traveler.” Eugene Levy will interview the Prince of Wales, who will warmly host the actor. Meanwhile, a recently shared preview clip showed the 78-year-old visiting the royal “castle” on his UK trip.

The video begins with Levy exploring London on an open bus. He even quips, “Never felt more like a tourist.” Next, viewers can see him receiving a letter of invitation from the palace. He reads the content, which says, “Why don’t you pop down to the castle?” — signed by Prince William.

The Grammy Award-winner seems to be excited about the invitation. With a big smile, he greets the heir to the throne, saying, “Your Royal Highness!” They cannot stop their chuckles as they shake hands. Furthermore, the 43-year-old prince gives a tour of the palace to Levy. He states: “We provide this service for everyone. We do personalized tours everywhere.”

While taking a walk near a stream, the interviewer asks William what he does when he is at home. He chuckles and replies, “Sleep.” “When you’ve got three small children, sleep is an important part of my life,” the royal member adds.

Towards the end of the video, the vibe turns a bit heavy. They sit at a bar, where King Charles’s first son claims, “I would say 2024 was the hardest year I’ve ever had.” He continues to open up to Levy and mentions that “life is sent to test us.” William concludes by saying that overcoming the challenging parts of life is “what makes us who we are.”
