It’s not all namaste with the Royal Family right now! King Charles was apparently left “outraged” when Prince Andrew, handed him a $43,000 bill for a live-in holistic healer, according to a new royal biography.
Per the new book, the hefty bill added to existing friction between the brothers. This regards the financial support Prince Andrew receives following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022.
King Charles is said to be outraged over Prince Andrew’s hefty bill for a “live-in yogi”

In The Rise and Fall of the House of York, royal historian Andrew Lownie examined the life of the Duke of York, including his marriage to Sarah Ferguson, his controversial image in the press, as well as his debts … which leads us onto that live-in yogi. Radar has the scoop.
“Charles was outraged when this bill for Andrew’s so-called spiritual healer landed on his desk,” an insider said in the new royal biography. “It was more than $40,000 for chanting, massages, and holistic therapy.”
The source went on to add that the yogi – who was flown in from India – even lived with Prince Andrew at his Royal Lodge home. It made “matters worse” in the eyes of his brother. “The yogi apparently stayed at Royal Lodge for weeks at a time,” the source claimed. “The King couldn’t believe Andrew expected him to pay for it. He was speechless.”
The late Queen is believed to have covered some of the Duke’s living costs. King Charles put an end to this arrangement when he became monarch.
“Charles has long wanted Andrew out of Royal Lodge, but the lease ties his hands as long as Andrew pays for its upkeep,” a royal insider said in the book. “What the King can do is stop funding the luxuries – the staff, the consultants, and in this case, the yogi. He’s drawn a line and made it plain that those perks are finished.”
