The track “Opalite” has been described as a tease for having a lyrical reference aimed at Kayla Nicole, who was once Travis Kelce’s ex. The song describes Swift, who, over the years, has carefully sought the ideal romantic partner, Kelce, whom she started dating in 2023.
The couple got engaged in August and then shared the news on Instagram. It’s easy to tell the song is about Kelce since his birthstone is Opal. Nicole, 33, was in an on-and-off relationship with Kelce for 5 years until the Kansas City Chiefs tight end met Swift after her Eras Tour concert.
