Well, it was fun while it lasted. Brittany Cartwright from The Valley just revealed that she’s already split from her boyfriend, Brandon Hanson. The news comes just two months after the two went public, and now, Brittany is fessing up to why things didn’t work out.

This summer, fans of The Valley were so excited to see Brittany in a new romance following her nasty split from Jax Taylor. Brandon was also a divorcee, which is something he and Brittany connected over. The two flew off to the beach for a cute little romantic getaway. It seemed like things were headed in a positive direction, but Brittany confirmed their split in the October 10 episode of her podcast, When Reality Hits.
“I’m single,” Brittany admitted. “We actually did not last.”
She explained, “We were very good friends before we started dating. It was kind of like a whirlwind relationship. It went into the public way sooner than we ever would have wanted it to.”
According to Brit, there are no hard feelings between her and Brandon. They didn’t have a big, horrible fight. It just simply didn’t work out.
“It ended amicably, but I just could not do the long distance, and he’s got a lot of obligations with his three kids and jobs, and we lived three hours away, so it was just too tough to keep it going,” Brittany explained.
“We really cared about each other,” She continued. “Hopefully, we can remain friends, but it’s just something I didn’t see that was going to be able to continue in the future.”
Brittany isn’t wasting time boohooing over this relationship. She just got a mommy makeover, which Brit noted that she paid for, not Brandon. So, she’s healing in more ways than one, and she’s fine with doing it alone.
“I feel good…I still got a lot of healing to do, a lot of learning to do, so I think being single for a little bit longer is what’s best for me. It was a short relationship, short couple of months.”
“Like I said, it got into the media much sooner than we wanted it to, but I, I feel good about the decision and I think, you know, this is what’s best for me,” Brittany concluded. “So wish him the best, wish everything the best. It just wasn’t for me, it just didn’t work out.”
