Bobby Bones Disagrees With Hilaria Baldwin’s DWTS Elimination Comments

Bobby Bones thinks Hilaria Baldwin is off the mark when it comes to her elimination on Dancing with the Stars. From one controversial contestant to another, he thinks that she was wrong when she claimed to have been bullied off the show.

He’s hardly one to speak, though, honestly. He was pretty controversial during his own season despite emerging as the champion. Recently, the radio host even admitted to cheating during his time on DWTS, making his win seem even more controversial.

Hilaria Baldwin claimed she was “bullied off” Dancing with the Stars

Not that Hilaria’s assessment is accurate. It’s her opinion, of course, and one that she felt strongly enough about to share on her social media. The former contestant claimed she was “bullied off of DWTS.” She shared these thoughts live on her social media.

And Bobby couldn’t resist weighing in. “I was reading about Hilaria Baldwin saying she was bullied off Dancing with the Stars,” he said on TikTok. “As somebody who was treated like crap by hardcore fans of the show, yeah, bullying happens. But you don’t get bullied off the show. You get kicked off because nobody voted for you.”

That’s stating the obvious, but he does have a point. While netizens will always weigh in on contestants, at the end of the day, it’s judges’ scores and votes that keep the dancing dream alive. Bobby said that although others bullied him too, he still earned enough votes to advance.

“So that’s bull crap,” the controversial winner stated. “She was a great dancer. She was somebody who came in with a ton of dance experience, obviously. But no, no, no, you didn’t get bullied off the show. I don’t know her, but you got eliminated because people didn’t like you.”

Hilaria, meanwhile, says she remains grateful for her time on the show. Honestly, it was an uphill battle for her to win over public opinion, as her casting was controversial to begin with. Julianne Hough even claimed that she campaigned to be on the show, a claim which Hilaria firmly denies.

Dancing with the Stars airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+. It will stream on Hulu the next day.
