Charlie Sheen’s dad Martin appalled by ‘drugs and h***ers’ confession

Charlie Sheen recounts drug abuse tales and scandalous personal life stories in new tell-all memoir called, The Book of Sheen. According to a report by Radar Online, the 85-year-old man is horrified by “how Charlie brags about all the drugs and h***ers he’s had.”

Martin Sheen warned his son to “grow up and get serious for once in his life.” According to an insider, Charlie is soaking in the “excitement” surrounding his memoir and relishing the praise coming his way.

“He’s certainly not apologizing for [anything]. He’s making jokes about what was a dark time, not only for him, but for his loved ones, his dad especially,” the source added.

The Two and a Half Men star recalled the time when he realised his own father had called the cops for a parole violation back in 1998 after Charlie overdosed on drugs. “It felt like the biggest betrayal you can possibly endure,” the actor revealed.

An anonymous source stated, “Charlie may write that he realized his dad turning him in to the cops for a parole violation was an act of love, but he makes it seem like a big joke. The way he took a swipe at Martin was insensitive to say the least.”

Martin has reportedly supported his son amidst his struggles in his personal life, which include substance abuse, divorces, arrest, public meltdown, as well as HIV diagnosis. However, the 85-year-old man wants his son to understand the repercussions of his behaviour, take responsibility, and act professionally.

The same source remarked, “Martin doesn’t want to deprive Charlie of his success for having written the book. But he wants to see Charlie own up to his mistakes and act in a more professional manner.” Notably, the Charlie Sheen documentary released on September 10 on Netflix.
