Reports have been swirling this week that Britney Spears was acting “erratically” at a restaurant. The singer is also said to have been spotted speeding on the way home. But the manager of the restaurant now says she was totally fine – and didn’t order any alcohol.
Britney Spears ordered “no alcohol,” according to the restaurant manager who served her
Britney had an evening out with a friend in Westlake Village last week. The girls’ night didn’t exactly end well, though – the singer made headlines for her alleged “erratic” behavior. She was also alleged to have been seen “dangerously” speeding on her way home.
But the restaurant manager, Oliver Wynn, says the reports are actually not “fair, realistic or true.” According to him, the singer was actually low key and very well behaved.
He told US Weekly: “I was there and attended to Britney and her friend. She was super chill and really nice.” He continued: “She was in and out of the restaurant within an hour. She just kind of hung out, grabbed a bite to eat and left.”
The manager also noted that Britney just “ordered a quesadilla and no alcohol.” He added: “Another guest or fan bought her a glass of wine at the bar and brought it over to her table. She was not intoxicated.”
He also mentioned how pleasant the singer was to fans, taking photos and videos with anyone who asked. He said: “I was impressed at how nice she actually was. I worked at other restaurants frequented by a lot of celebrities, and I’ve never really seen a celebrity be as nice as Britney was.”
As for those claims the singer was caught on video driving erratically, she’s offered an interesting retort – it was just a lookalike.
