Zoë Kravitz’s Allegations of Lily Allen ‘Attack’ Resurface Amid Album Release

Lily Allen’s first album in seven years is getting all the promotion right now. Mainly because it details her breakup with actor David Harbour. In the midst of the buzz around it, a few old controversies have come back to haunt the singer. This week, social media has been talking about allegations from Zoë Kravitz that Lily once kissed her without consent.

Zoë Kravitz claims Lily Allen “attacked” her

The issue dates back to 2018, when Lily published her tell-all memoir. In it, she talks about being pals with Zoë and details a time the pair kissed after a night out in NYC.

But Zoë clearly remembers things very differently. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live a few months later, she was asked about the kiss by a viewer. She first responds with “Who is Lily Allen?”. When fellow guest Eddy Redmayne says he loves the singer, the actress quickly tells him “no you don’t.”

She then gives her version of events: “If by kissing she means, like, attacking, then yes, she kissed me.”

When a shocked Andy Cohen struggles to reply, Zoë reiterates: “she attacked me.”

Andy then asks if she read Lily’s book, to which she replies “I don’t think anybody read the book.”

Lily responded to the allegation a year later while talking to an MTV reporter. The journalist says: “There was an instance in your book where you spoke about Zoë Kravitz. And she jumped on Andy Cohen’s show and said, ‘It didn’t go down like that.’ Thoughts on that?”

Lily replied: “I can’t really speak for her. All I can say is my version of events, which didn’t match hers, clearly.”

The singer recently revealed she’s back on the dating scene following her divorce from David Harbour. It’s not going too well, though – she says she’s been banned from one popular app.
