Jennifer Aniston marked Jim Curtis’ birthday with a rare social media post celebrating their relationship. On Nov. 2, the Friends star shared a black-and-white Instagram photo of herself hugging Curtis from behind, captioned, “Happy birthday my love. Cherished.” The image showed both smiling, with Aniston’s arms wrapped around the author and hypnotherapist as they celebrated his special day.
Photographers first spotted Aniston and Curtis together on a yacht in Mallorca in July. The pair later appeared at The Morning Show season 4 premiere in September and went on a double date with Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka in August. A source told People that they are “casually dating and having fun” and said a mutual friend introduced them after Aniston read his book and admired his work.
Curtis, who has spent over two decades in the health and wellness field, focuses on helping clients “step into the fullest version of themselves,” according to his website. In August, a source told People that Curtis has encouraged Aniston to “slow down” amid her busy schedule. “He supports her in a way that feels new,” the insider said, noting that Curtis “really appreciates and feel(s) proud of everything she’s built.”
The actress, 56, had previously teased the relationship in early September with a “Thank you summer” Instagram post featuring Curtis among a group of friends. She later declined to elaborate on her dating life during a September interview with Entertainment Tonight, responding, “That’s very nice,” when told Curtis seemed “like a really special guy.”
Curtis shares a teenage son with his ex-wife, Rachel Napolitano. Aniston married Brad Pitt and later Justin Theroux before their respective separations.
