The royal family has been busy making a definitive statement with Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. Buckingham Palace stripped the former Prince Andrew of his royal titles. They announced that he will no longer be known as Prince. In response to this, the family of Virginia Giuffre issued a statement on the family’s decision and handling of the terrible situation.
Virginia Giuffre’s family vow to continue her “battle”
The BBC shared a statement by Virginia’s family on what has happened to Andrew these past several weeks. The statement was straight to the point and asserted that the family would continue the fight.
“Today, an ordinary American girl from an American family, brought down a British prince with her truth and extraordinary courage,” the statement read. “Virginia Roberts Giuffre, our sister, a child when she was sexually assaulted by Andrew, never stopped fighting for accountability for what happened to her and countless others like her.”
The family added that they would continue her battle (Virginia allegedly died by suicide in April). “We, her family, along with her survivor sisters, continue Virginia’s battle. We will not rest until the same accountability applies to all of the abusers and abettors connected to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
Virginia’s brother, Sky Roberts, says that King Charles is “setting a roadmap.” They said by stripping Andrew of his titles and removing him from the Royal Lodge, he is making a statement. “He is setting a precedent to the rest of the world to say I stand with the survivors,” he explained.
He is still calling for an investigation and for the King to pressure the American government as well to do the same. Many are also asking Andrew to cooperate with the investigation. “Let’s get these Epstein files released so we can go after these monsters properly,” Virginia’s family said.
