Anthony’s numerous obsessions are part of the reason his wife believes he might have a form of autism.

In an interview with the Sunday Times, he said: “I like everything in order. And memorizing.” That prompted his wife to believe he might have Asperger’s (ASD). That term, though, no longer describes a developmental disorder, according to WebMD. Those with ASD are said to have trouble socializing. They also tend to have a specific routine and a limited number of interests.

Anthony has said that if anything, he may have “some kind of embarrassment” regarding his job as an actor. His comments come after opening up about a terrifying incident which led to him admitting he was an alcoholic.

For the actor, diseases like OCD, ADHD, and Asperger’s are “all rubbish.” He just calls it “living.” He adds that nowadays conditions like those are for him simply a fashion.

Anthony recently shared that he continuously invited his estranged daughter to gatherings, all of which she has ignored. Abigail is his only child from his first marriage to actress Petronella Barker. The couple divorced in the early 1970s.

He has three upcoming movies. Eyes in the Trees and Wife & Dog are currently in post-production. Currently, his movie Maserati: The Brothers is filming. The movie co-stars Al Pacino and Andy Garcia.

Anthony’s book, We Did Ok, Kid, comes out in stores on Tuesday.
