Steve McBee Sr. has been busy. Since the court issued his sentence, the star of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys has been working to get everything in order to serve his time and pay the fine the court ordered. To help pay the seven-figure sum, Steve has turned over a series of luxury watches.

To sum it up, the McBee family patriarch was accused of acquiring millions in insurance fraud. He pled guilty and was sentenced to two years behind bars, followed by 2 years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay $4 million in restitution. Considering he was potentially facing 30 years in prison, this isn’t bad at all.
According to US Weekly, court documents stated that the court ordered a lump sum payment of the full $4 million due immediately. If he is unable to do so, there is a stipulated payment schedule for his time in prison and during supervised release.
To help pay this amount, Steve turned over several luxury watches to help with the payment of the fine. The filing listed a Rolex Two-Tone Daytona watch, a TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch, and a TAG Heuer Grand Carrera Automatic watch as the luxury pieces he gave.
The prosecutors asked for permission to officially seize the items and sell them for public auction. The judge approved the request. The funds will go towards Steve’s court-mandated fine. He has until December 1st to surrender and begin his prison sentence. Officials recommended that he serve his sentence at a minimum-security federal prison in South Dakota.
For now, Steve is getting his ducks in a row. He’s spending quality time with his dogs and family, and documenting his time on social media. He is thankful for the outpouring of support since his sentencing and said, “The number of messages I have received touches my heart beyond measure that words could express,” he said.
