After working so well with chief stew Aesha Scott for two seasons, Captain Jason Chambers has a new stew on board. On Below Deck Down Under Season 4, Jason will be working with experienced crew leader Daisy Kelliher.
Even though he was sorry to see Aesha move on to another boat (she’s currently featured on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10), he appreciates Daisy. “I’m happy to have Daisy come back,” Jason said in September. “She works well, she works hard.”

“It’s not uncommon for stewardesses to move on,” he told Us Weekly. “Things change and you have to adapt to it. Aesha had an opportunity to rewrite the story she started in, so I definitely can understand.”
Pleased with her job performance, Jason teased a bit of Daisy’s work ethic during the upcoming BDDU Season 4. “She’s authentic, and she really cares about the job,” he said. “Daisy brought her A-game, and she didn’t hold anything back. When she wants something, she gets it.”
For her part, Daisy admitted to being a little nervous about switching from a sailing yacht to a motor yacht. But she was looking forward to the challenge.
“I got very familiar with Parsifal and Captain Glenn Shephard and to what sailing was all about,” she said. “[Suddenly, on BDDU, it was like], ‘Oh, can I do this? What’s it going to be like? Am I going to clash with the captain?… I think it was good for me to change and be given a new challenge, but I was certainly very, very nervous.”
Wanting to have her own experience on the new boat, Daisy chose not to reach out to anyone before joining the BDDU crew. “I’m human, like everybody else,” she explained. “I didn’t want my experience to be influenced by other opinions … I’d watched the [show], so I had an idea of what I was walking into. I knew Jason was going to be there, and that’s all I really needed to know.”
Though the official premiere date for BDDU Season 4 is still unknown, the show has started filming. You can currently catch a sneak peak of Season 4 on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City crossover.
