We all knew it wasn’t over between embittered co-stars Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively after the judge dismissed Justin’s defamation and extortion countersuit. They were just regrouping. Now, Justin’s legal team has submitted new footage of an unscripted kiss between Blake and Justin. Justin’s team is using it to show that the actress has exhibited the same conduct she is accusing Justin of during filming.

According to RadarOnline, court documents claim this never-before-seen footage showcases Blake and Justin in a hospital hallway. It’s a deleted scene from the film that showcases Blake improvising a kiss during filming. This is something she has cited as evidence of sexual harassment on his part on set.
The clip is roughly a minute long and filed as an exhibit in a motion for summary judgment on November 13. The scene was filmed in May 2023.
In the footage, Blake (as Lily) walks up to Justin’s character, Ryle. She grabs his arm and plants a quick kiss on him before smiling and leaving. Justin’s team asserts that the moment and kiss were not part of the screenplay and were added by Blake.
They also added that the Gossip Girl alum “oversaw” the scene and approved the moment, which she “added to the script” herself. And it was done more than once while they continued to film this deleted scene.
The legal battle is continuing, and more and more will assuredly come out as the case continues. Blake recently accused Justin and his team of spreading negative content about her, but what she released didn’t seem to prove that. If anything, it seemed that his team wanted to focus on his positive press.
Justin’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, shared that “remain fully committed to pursuing the truth through every legal and factual avenue available.” We have to wait and see what’s next.
