Eric Trump is clarifying a rumor surrounding his younger brother.
At Donald Trump’s 2025 inauguration speech, lip-reading experts believed Barron Trump had some choice words about his dad’s predecessor as US President Joe Biden.
There has been a lot of bad blood between Donald and Joe. Donald previously referring to him as the worst President in American history. Joe defeated him when he was the incumbent President in 2020, an election which saw plenty of protests afterwards. Before the results, Donald questioned the validity of that election, suggesting there may have been fraud.
Barron Trump had a polite message for Joe Biden at Donald Trump’s inauguration

Eric is setting the record straight on what transpired between his brother and the ex-President.
Rumors surfaced about what his 19-year-old brother had said to Joe. “Barron just told Biden to go F himself?” Eric recalled of the speculation in an interview on The Megyn Kelly Show last week.
When Eric heard this, he went straight to the source to find out what went down. After speaking to his brother Eric says that Barron’s words to Joe weren’t anything close to what was suggested in the media. According to him, the words were something along the lines of congratulations and wishing Joe the best of luck. It was “something very respectful,” said Eric.
We don’t know precisely what Barron said, but Eric has always defended him. He’s said that Barron doesn’t have it in him to be mean-spirited. “Barron’s a really nice kid,” said Eric.
During Donald’s inauguration earlier this year, he often spoke ill of Joe, indirectly suggesting, among other things, that the US would once again be respected globally.
In September, Barron was referred to as an oddity at New York University (NYU), with reports circulating that he’d not been seen on campus. No confirmation of his attendance has been received despite reports that he’s enrolled there.
