Even though the ladies of the Real Housewives of New Jersey are in-between seasons, the drama never stops. Last season featured several explosive head-to-head feuds that took a turn for the nasty. There were cheating rumors and bad analogies that kept up the bad blood between Teresa Giudice and Jackie Goldschneider. Melissa Gorga got into it with Tre, her husband (and bonafide Real Housewife) Joe Gorga and, of course, Jennifer Aydin. Jennifer knows how to push buttons, especially when it comes to MelGo and Margaret Josephs.
The Marge v. Jen feud particularly took a turn for the dark. They argued over the cheating rumors surrounding Evan Goldschneider and brought their husbands into it. Marge shamed Jen for being a stay-at-home mom and referred to Bill Aydin as her “meal ticket.” Jennifer, who seems to have no filter whatsoever, slut-shamed Margaret several times, including during the reunion. This feud is particularly hard because both bring something to the table every RHONJ season. And while they may never be good friends, they both make reality TV gold in my book.
FORMER Real Housewives of Orange County star Braunwyn Windham-Burke is probably having the best and worst week of her life, considering all the attention she’s getting. She and Kelly Dodd were (finally) fired from the show alongside Elizabeth Lyn Vargas. And Kelly is putting Boringwyn on blast, blaming her for their exit. Typical Kelly, not seeing how her horrible behavior turned the fans all the way off, especially after last season. And while Braunwyn is definitely NOT taking the news well, she knows better than anyone that any press is good press.
Braunwyn, in the meantime, has been saying yes to any and every interview she’s asked to do, to milk the end of her RHOC 15-minutes of fame. She was upset to get the boot after she wanted to show herself as a “different person” next year. Sounds like she had plenty of plans to continue to turn her life upside down for TV. And to make matters worse for her, it’s rumored that Brauny’s old BFF is taking her spot on the show. That’s gotta hurt the paparazzi-loving mom of seven.
It’s time to pop the champs, Real Housewives of Orange County fans — Fancy Pants Heather Dubrow is back. And to Vicki Gunvalson’s glee, she’s on a mission to Make OC Classy Again, whatever that means. Not only is Heather in, but Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Kelly Dodd are out with their messiness. Heather was one of the first Real Housewives to call out Kelly for her bad behavior during her first season on the show, so she’s a good judge of character. Plus, Fancy Pants gets that Housewives’ is a sport and needs to be tackled as such. And she’s actually filthy rich, which always makes for fun TV, especially when it’s earned AUTHENTICALLY (hear that, Erika Jayne?)
Heather announced her triumphant return on her podcast Heather Dubrow’s World, where Bravo daddy Andy Cohen was the guest. The two talked about her return as well as teased another old school housewife from another city making a similar return sometime soon. And even though Terry Dubrow tried to persuade fans that his wife wouldn’t make a return, thank the Bravo gods he was wrong.
Ahead of the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 reunion, it’s safe to say this season really took it to a new level. There were hookups and steamy hot tub moments galore. There were over-the-top guests that were painfully entitled during their stay. We even saw an instance where Captain Glenn Shephard crashed the boat into the dock. Not even the COVID-19 pandemic could stop the drama coming in at full force all season long.
And in the off-season, things have gotten juicier. Dani Soares gave birth to a baby that may or may not be Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux’s. Not even J.L. knows if he’s the father, even though he’s not doing much to figure it out. The majority of his Below Deck co-stars aren’t having it, slamming for his treatment of Dani. This is coming from a man who told the entire boat he had an STD prior to getting a test. He’s obviously not the sharpest tool in the box.
If there is one Southern Charm cast member who has put in the work to earn their Bravo paycheck, it’s Madison LeCroy. She swindled her way on the show thanks to her relationship with Austen Kroll. Or rather, a clip she captured of him allegedly cheating on her with two women that blew up on the internet. Their relationship only got more toxic by the episode on both sides. And while Austen went high, Madison went higher. To get specific, she went after A-list athletes like Jay Cutler and Alex Rodriguez to get under his skin. She’s even taking credit for the Bennifer reunion because why not? Jennifer Lopez and ARod did end their engagement after rumors about the MLB star having FaceTime dates (complete with NDAs) with Madison emerged during the SC reunion.
Madison and Austen truly brought out the absolute worst in each other. And side comments from Craig Conover, Shep Rose and nearly every other cast member just added fuel to the fire. Last season got nasty, particularly on Madison’s side. But frankly, after some of the stuff Austen put her through, I couldn’t totally fault her. Like Patricia Altschul says, he’s just not her Budweiser. But maybe he’ll be someone’s Trop-Hop someday, but it’s clear it’s not Madison.
Is every Real Housewives of Orange County fan just feeling lighter this week now that Kelly Dodd and Braunwyn Windham-Burke officially got the boot? It feels like an actual weight has been lifted and the show isn’t doomed for good, mostly thanks to Heather Dubrow’s Season 16 comeback. Kelly and Braunwyn both brought RHOC down to a new level of nastiness, whether it was Covid Kelly’s insensitive comments or Boringwyn horrible actions including, but not limited to, offering drugs to Shannon Beador’s 14-year-old daughter.
Both Kelly and Braunwyn recently spoke about wanting to return next season, but it really wasn’t a surprise Bravo made a major shakeup in the cast. Many fans boycotted last season thanks to Kelly’s outrageous behavior. And the show lost its spark from the good old days of Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson whooping it up at Andales. But Kelly really put the final nail in her coffin when she posted screenshots of a text exchange with Braunwyn after the casting news broke. B was seemingly reaching out to support Kelly. But Kelly lashed back at her and blamed her for them losing their oranges in the first place. Typical Kelly.
It’s no surprise that Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi’s web of scandals, including their
scam divorce and legal issues, is the main event this year on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It’s really a story straight out of a horror movie. Tom allegedly embezzling millions from his clients, many of whom were victims of horrific accidents, to fund his over-the-top lifestyle. Erika says she’s not involved, but the questionable timing of her divorce says otherwise. Plus, Tom was depositing millions into her businesses that he earned from swindling his clients so she could fund her high-end fashions, over-the-top glam and virtually anything else she wanted in life that she didn’t have to work for.
Erika has maintained her innocence, but a recent Hulu documentary about the whole ordeal has plenty of people looking at her questionably. Yet, the word on the street is that Sutton Stracke is the only RHOBH who isn’t supporting Erika throughout all of this. Yes, the women who put people on trial for alleged hookups and #puppygate leaks are supporting a woman accused of being a total fraudster. It only further proves to me that the RHOBH ladies all help each other hide the real skeletons in their massive closets rather than confronting them on reality TV like they are PAID TO DO. Like, this is why Teresa Giudice is the Tom Brady of housewives. Ladies, take notes.
Vanderpump Rules Season 9 is fast approaching, and there’s no doubt it will be a season unlike any other. Half of the OG cast “left” (aka got fired) from the show after last season for various displays of bad behavior. That includes new dad Jax Taylor, which is still a shocking concept to wrap my head around. Jax has been a VPR OG since the early days and his bad-boy antics ranged from entertaining to downright toxic. He’s stolen sunglasses. He’s blown up on his friends. He cheated on his fiance. The list goes on. And while Jax might not be missed by many on the next season, his absence will truly be somewhat alarming.
Jax and Brittany Cartwright are new parents battling with their bookkeeper and weirdos on Instagram who make fake accounts pretending to be their newborn baby. They hang out with fellow
disgraced former Pump Rules parents Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark. Jax has definitely shown he’s pretty bitter about his alleged firing, saying that he didn’t even want to be a part of the phoniness anyway. Which disputes his early claims regarding his excitement to start filming Season 9. And you know who’s laughing all the way to the bank to cash their Bravo check that Jax misses so much? Miss Charli Burnett who never eats pasta. And that’s on that.
