Happy New Year! The very last Real Housewives Of Atlanta of 2018 was an episode full of goodbyes, family, and rebirths but next week, once we’re firmly ensconced in 2019 the fighting resumes!
Cynthia Bailey is sending Noelle off to Howard University where she’ll be studying dentistry. Days before Noelle is supposed to leave the serenity of Lake Bailey, right in the middle of her going away party, she starts having a panic attack. All totally normal except for the cameras filming as Noelle as slumped on the ground in fetal position sobbing into Cynthia’s lap.
As another year approaches, it is time to reflect upon the past, and dream about the future. As a reality television fanatic fan, my thoughts turn to which Housewives need to grace our television screens once again. Are you listening, Bravo?
Each Real Housewivesfranchise has seasons that are amazing and others that are boring less exciting. Often, the key is having the right number of newbies and franchise favorites. But what really makes sparks fly is when a Housewife returns to a show, resuming prior relationships and interacting with newer castmates. Here is my dream team of who needs to be, and deserves to be, a Housewife again.
I always want to know what Real Housewives from different shows talk about when they get together. Unfortunately, I will never truly know what they talk about without an audience. However, Teresa Giudice did make a recent appearance on Kim Zolciak’s podcast.
Once again, friendships are being shaken up on Season 11 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta!NeNe Leakes is ready to embrace an old enemy and re-awaken drama with someone who is like a little sister to her.
Even though they’ve publicly feuded, many reality TV stars gathered with family for Christmas. Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Joe Gorga celebrated Christmas Eve together. But what kind of cookies did they eat? Did Melissa bring some sprinkle cookies? Or did Teresa insist on eating pignoli cookies? Hopefully, they didn’t argue about desserts this year.
Season 11 of Real Housewives of Atlanta has been inching along. Unfortunately, there just hasn’t been much noticeable drama to report. But this is Eva Marcille’s first season holding a peach. She is ready to earn her spot on the show. So far, we have been watching the lead-up to her wedding and drama with her mother about the festivities. (Kandi Burrusshas been there, done that, and did it much better.)
So, Eva asked her “big sister” NeNe Leakes to speak at her wedding reception. Nevertheless, she did not invite NeNe to the bachelorette party. It seems like Eva is either overstating her close bond with Nene or didn’t invite her to stir up more drama for RHOA. At this point, Eva just seems desperate.
On last night’s Real Housewives Of Atlanta the women were still in Destin, FL. With everyone mostly getting along, NeNe Leakes had to invent shady games to try and provoke arguments. Even that didn’t really work!
I can’t say I mind the dynamic of RHOA this season. I know people are already complaining that it’s boring and dry. But, we all saw NeNe attempting to create issues with newbie Tanya Sam whom she actually brought onto the show as her friend. However, so far I’m enjoying the light shade and goofy camaraderie. It actually reminds of early seasons, before people were twirling up messes and getting dragged across reunion stages by their mostly real hair. I’m not blaming Kenya Moore, I just think that a group of women who conceivably know each other, have longtime roots in the area, and mostly get along provides a lot more authentic drama.
Eva Marcille has talked all season about how NeNe Leakes is “a big sister” to her. She even asked NeNe to speak at her wedding reception. Why would Eva not ask someone who is a major part of her wedding to attend the bachelorette party?
She invited Porsha Williams to the event, but none of the other Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members. Most of the women were not bothered by the snub (I don’t blame them). However, no one understood why Eva did not invite NeNe.
