Lisa Barlow Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City

When we first met Real Housewives of Salt Lake City stars Heather Gay and Lisa Barlow, their relationship was already rocky. Lisa, who owns several alcohol brands with her husband, channeled Mariah Carey and denied knowing Heather during their days at the same college. Well, except that she remembered that her RHOSLC co-star was “a good time girl.”

This was news to Heather, who was upset by Lisa’s comments. Heather, who owns Beauty Lab & Laser, is divorced from Billy Gay III who comes from “Mormon Royalty.” She has struggled to find her footing since her divorce, and recently confided in her three daughters that she feels shamed and judged by the Mormon church.

Jen Shah is bringing the drama to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.  Arguably, she is doing the work for the entire cast, because without the regular interactions between her and Mary Cosby, there isn’t a ton of conflict.  It’s as if these ladies are actually respectful and caring toward one another.

After last week’s disastrous meltdown at Sharrieff Shah’s birthday, questions were raised as to whether Jen is turning up the histrionics for the cameras.  Whitney Rose already insinuated that Jen modifies her character when in the company of her husband.  So, the question remains.  Who is the real Jen Shah?

Mary Cosby

Every time Mary Cosby opens her mouth, she says something that I can’t get past. I’ll never get over the recent Real Housewives of Salt Lake City episode where she said that she employs a family member to clean her home, but that she has never taken the time to know anything about her own relative outside of the work she does for her. She suggested that Jen Shah’s aunt needed to drink more water to prevent her legs from getting amputated. There’s just a lot that doesn’t add up with Mary (and don’t even get me started on her absolutely suspect finances).

Then, there’s the whole 7-11 conversation that we didn’t get to see, but Jen claimed that Mary won’t go to the convenience store if there are Black people hanging outside the front.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Heather Gay

Last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reached a new dramatic high for the series. Secrets were revealed. Glass was shattered. Middle school hip-hop choreography was performed. Now it’s time for the fallout. Which feels catastrophic for Jen Shah as she mopes around her empty ski chalet. Coach Shah is so angry about her outburst at his birthday party that he hasn’t been home in days. And it looks like her friendships with some of the other ‘Wives are on thin ice too.

Meanwhile, Whitney Rose drops by Beauty Lab + Laser to rehash the drama with Heather Gay. First and foremost, the cousins are in agreement that Whitney did absolutely nothing wrong by dropping bomb and bomb at the birthday bash and getting everything out on the table. But Whitney is a little miffed that Heather cut into her moment and interrupted the message she was trying to deliver to Jen. However, in Heather’s mind, the issue runs deeper than just another Jen blow-up. It’s about Jen choosing Lisa Barlow and Meredith Marks over her and Whitney. A classic game of Housewives picking sides!

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Whitney Rose

Whitney Rose racked up a lot of conflict with her Real Housewives of Salt Lake City costars.  In the latest episode, Whitney picked Sharrieff Shah’s birthday as the ideal venue to relay some gossip to Jen Shah.  The origin of the gossip was Jen’s arch nemesis Mary Cosby  and pitted Jen against her friends Meredith Marks and Lisa BarlowBy the end of it, the ladies had turned against Whitney.

But it was Whitney’s interaction with Sara McArthur Pierce that has created more calamitous issues for her.  Sara is a friend to the housewives.  She has a penchant for confusing their birthdays and serving paltry snacks to her house guests.  Sliced apple and pecans?  All joking aside, it’s a potential guilt by association that Whitney is trying to distance herself from.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Mary Cosby

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Mary Cosby is certainly unique. First of all, Mary is married to her step-grandfather. This was orchestrated by her grandmother so that Mary could inherit her grandmother’s church. The unlikely couple has been married for 22 years and have a son. But it is still cringy-worthy.

Mary, who is a Pentecostal minister, was accused of speaking to her congregation in a less than loving way. There is an audio recording of the RHOSLC cast member allegedly insulting poor members of her church. “I don’t want no poor people around me,” Mary supposedly said in the recording. “Poor as hell. And if you ain’t poor, you’re stingy, so you’re still poor.” Her congregation must be really feeling the love.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Whitney Rose Jen Shah

This! This is the episode I’ve been waiting to see on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. After weeks of personal storylines and lots of behind-the-back gossiping, the drama finally erupted in the 801. And it was all thanks to Whitney Rose. The youngest Housewife of the bunch certainly earned her snowflake this week, putting everything on the table and getting multiple storylines moving. She truly did the Lord’s work. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s start at the beginning, shall we?

Jen Shah is throwing a party! More specifically, it’s a surprise birthday party for her husband, Sharrieff Shah, who hates surprises. On the contrary, Jen seems to really love surprises, doesn’t she? Or at least birthday parties, considering this is the second one she’s thrown this season. I wonder if her plans for Coach Shah will match the tens of thousands of dollars she spent on the premiere soiree for Meredith Marks. Considering she’s throwing this Shah-mazing party at a TopGolf, I’d say probably not?

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Whitney Rose

The latest episode of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City gave a lot of screen time to the husbands.  After several episodes of setting the stage for marital issues in Jen Shah, Meredith Marks, and Lisa Barlow’s relationships, the men were cut free to share their true feelings.  One thing is clear, these real husbands are all navigating relationships with wives that want to live a “modern” marriage.

It was a drama free episode.  Maybe that’s because Jen and Mary Cosby where not within earshot.  Jen also appeared more subdued and vulnerable.  Was it being in the presence of only Meredith and LisaCoach Sharrieff Shah was back in town and is clearly a grounding presence to her.  So the change in Jen’s demeanor could have been simply a product of that support and not a calculating effort.
