New claims about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex emerged during an appearance by journalist Rob Shuter on “The Nerve with Maureen Callahan.” During the discussion, Shuter alleged that insiders told him Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are now “living separate lives” despite remaining together as a couple.
According to Shuter, sources claimed the pair have very few overlapping interests today. “They don’t really have any common interests apart from the Sussex brand,” he alleged. Reportedly, much of their shared focus revolves around their public image and business identity. He further claimed Meghan and Harry now maintain separate friendships and spend their time in different social circles.
The royal commentator also alleged that their personalities and interests were “never aligned” from the start. That said, he claimed they once made an effort to find activities and projects they could enjoy together. According to the allegations, that dynamic may have changed as several of their joint business ventures evolved over recent years.
Additionally, Shuter claimed Harry has become increasingly focused on family life and parenting responsibilities. Referring to the Duke as “Mr. Mom,” he alleged Harry spends a significant amount of time with the couple’s children. Meghan, he added, is also very involved, though insiders allegedly believe the pair now operate more independently than they once did.
The latest comments come as speculation around the Sussexes’ marriage continues to circulate online and in tabloids. Previous reports have alleged there is “undeniable tension” behind the scenes, despite the polished image often presented publicly. Other insiders have even claimed discussions about a possible vow renewal may have taken place.
