If you’re a fan of Selling Sunset like me, you know just what a tough time Chrishell Stause has gone through. She was blindsided by her husband filing for divorce, which played out on the show. Chrishell also went through it with her castmates, who were less than supportive of her problems.
Since filming has stopped, Chrishell’s bad fortune has continued. She had a messy breakup with Dancing With The Stars alum Keo Motsepe. She also had a dust up over Bethenny Frankel’s comments on Meghan Markle. If you’re asking why Chrishell was involved, I am asking the same thing. Either way, is there any good news coming out of Chrishell’s life these days?
I miss Selling Sunset. I was late to the game, started it when the pandemic hit and then binged all three seasons in a matter of a week. I couldn’t get enough of mean girls drama, dressed up under the guise of selling multi-million dollar houses. And despite villain Davina Potratz leaving the Oppenheim group , I need to know what happens with her $70M+ listing. Good thing she will still be on the show because I regularly think about that listing.
Another villain that emerged amongst the group was Christine Quinn. Where do I even start with her? Personality as icy as her hair color and fashion as sharp as her tongue. I really started out liking her assertive attitude, but she lost me when she was so cruel to Chrishell Stause. Who mercilessly picks on someone going through a nasty divorce? A coworker to boot.
Everyone is going through it and Brandi Glanville is no exception. Last time we saw Brandi, it seemed like she had been called in by Bravo to amp up the drama on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As usual, Brandi answered the call and presumably gave the producers exactly what they asked for. Denise Richards was a walking match and Brandi lit the fire that ultimately lead to a season of drama and Denise’s departure.
After ostensibly doing what she was told, it seems Brandi won’t make appearances on Season 11. You would think after having to bring someone in from the outside to pull a main storyline out of nowhere, she would have at least gotten a gift basket. But the world works in mysterious ways and like the rest of us, Brandi needs to get paid. So what’s a girl to do when the well is running dry and Bravo keeps sending her to voicemail? Real estate, baby.
Netflix and Selling Sunset really broke the mold in reality real estate TV. This series is a nice switch up from other longstanding shows like Million Dollar Listing. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, if you haven’t watched this Selling Sunset yet, get on it! The primarily female cast swept people away with not one, but TWO season drops during the pandemic. A binge-watcher’s dream. The show is also set to begin filming season four this spring. You still have time to catch up!
Fans can expect to see Christine Quinn, Chrishell Stause, Heather Rae Young, Amanza Smith, and Mary Fitzgerald back on their screens next season. In the meantime, the women have been keeping the drama flowing with uncomfortable break-ups, Vanderpump Rules shenanigans, and commentary on The Firm. Did I mention you need this show in your life?
Ahead of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, Bethenny Frankel
grasped for relevancy ranted about Meghan.
Bethenny told the Duchess of Sussex, “Cry me a river” in addition to calling out “the plight of being a game show host, fairly unknown actress, to suffering in a palace, w tiaras & 7 figure weddings for TWO WHOLE YEARS to being a household name w @Oprah on speed dial, fetching 7 m for interviews, hundreds of millions in media deals. ” Among other things…. Well, those remarks garnered a lot of attention, which is what Bethenny wanted. Obviously.
Chrishell Stause, who stars on Selling Sunset, actually found love when she competed on the most recent season of Dancing With The Stars. Chrishell was partnered with Gleb Savchenko. The duo had chemistry, but no romantic sparks flew.
Fun fact: Gleb was Lisa Vanderpump’s pro partner when she waltzed around the ballroom in Season 16. And Lisa had an “emotional affair” with Gleb. TMI, Lisa.
If you haven’t finished your pandemic Selling Sunset binge, what exactly have you been doing? I understand there are several other fish to fry, however, this one should at least be added to that list! Seriously. To sum up, get it done before the new seasons drop. I mean, have you ever seen cross-reality-show real estate drama? You wont regret it.
The show features several boss bitches selling high-end real estate in the Los Angeles area. In addition there are contentious divorces, ample Botox, home decor porn, and the iconic Christine Quinn, Whether you see Christine as an ice queen or HBIC, she’s definitely found herself in the Selling Sunset spotlight in recent months. Unsurprising, since she wrapped the most recent season of the show with her legendary $1,000,000 Gothic winter wedding.
Netflix’s Selling Sunset is the perfect pandemic binge watch. They dropped Season 2 in May of 2020 and blessed us all with Season 3 just three months later. This show is like a combination of a Housewives, Vanderpump Rules, and Million Dollar Listing. Give me all the co-worker drama, ridiculous amounts of wealth, and a splash of home design porn. Thank you.
An iconic scene to set the stage, if you haven’t watched yet, was Christine Quinn’s ‘Botox and Burgers’ open house. Christine has put the show on the map with her pettiness but also fashion that won’t quit. She claims to spend $1k/day on glam for the show. Unfortunately, it looks like Christine’s dreams of becoming a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills may be on hold. But for a good reason this time!
