Fred Sirieix, born on January 27, 1972, in Limoges, France, is a renowned maître d’hôtel best known for his appearances on Channel 4’s “First Dates” and BBC Two’s “Million Pound Menu.” Fred’s journey in hospitality began in his hometown, where he trained in a Michelin-starred restaurant. His passion for the service industry was inspired by his parents, both of whom worked in healthcare. He moved to London to further his career, working at prestigious establishments such as La Tante Claire, Le Gavroche, Sartoria, and Brasserie Roux. Sirieix’s most notable role was as the general manager of the Michelin-starred restaurant Galvin at Windows at the London Hilton on Park Lane, a position he held for 14 years until 2019. His leadership and dedication to excellence in service earned him widespread recognition and several awards, including the Cateys Manager of the Year in 2013. In addition to his managerial career, Fred has significantly contributed to the hospitality industry through various initiatives.
