Gennaro Sheffield D’Acampo, born Gennaro D’Acampo on July 17, 1976, is an Italian celebrity chef, television personality, and writer based in the United Kingdom. D’Acampo is widely known for his engaging food-focused television shows and successful cookbooks. He moved to London at 19 to work in prestigious restaurants, such as The Orchard Restaurant in Hampstead and the Cambio Restaurant in Guildford. In 2009, D’Acampo gained significant public attention by winning the ninth series of “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” This victory paved the way for a flourishing television career. He became a regular chef on ITV’s “This Morning” and presented a range of cookery programs, including “There’s No Taste Like Home” (2011), “Let’s Do Lunch” (2011–2014), and “Gino’s Italian Escape” (2013–present).
