This season of the Real Housewives Of New Jersey has introduced us to a significantly hornier and finally single Teresa Giudice. While the latest mid-season trailer shows that her new boo Luis Ruelas is making his RHONJ debut soon, Tre’s still single on the show. She’s up-front about wanting her “peach kissed,” is drinking pineapple juice by the gallon (to Joe Gorga’s horror) and obviously flirting with pool boy Tony Delorenzo whenever she can.
While Luis is apparently Tre’s “soulmate,” with Juicy Joe Giudice and their four dorters’ sign of approval, there’s undeniable chemistry between Tre and the hot pool boy. He’s old-school Italian, which we know didn’t go well for Tre last time, so maybe it’s better that they didn’t get together. Even though I ship it real hard. Melissa Gorga says he’s into younger women anyways, so the ship has sailed.
Love her or hate her, Teresa Giudice is undoubtedly the OG of OGs when it comes to real housewives. Her family drama is a major reason that Real Housewives of New Jersey delivers season after season. Whether she’s throwing away Melissa Gorga’s sprinkle cookies, igniting a fight between her ex Joe Giudice and brother Joe Gorga or going to bat for her four dortors, her family is always center stage.
And it even goes back to the early days when Melissa and Tre’s cousin Kathy Wakile joined RHONJ behind her back, which Tre says is the “worst thing to ever happen to her.” Nope, not jail. Not her ex being deported. It was her family trying to take her crown.
If you thought the drama was cooling off for The Real Housewives of New Jersey, think again. On last week’s episode things spiraled into total disarray. Everyone was at each other’s throats. However, at the end of the day this group always finds a way to move on and move forward. No matter how low the blows (looking at you Teresa Giudice), there’s always a sense of unity at the end of the day.
Even though they eventually move on and patch things up, inevitably something always comes between them again. This time it’s Jennifer Aydin going to war with Margaret Josephs. These two have never seen eye to eye, but this time feels different. There are some lines you don’t cross. Saying it’s sloppy to sleep with your boss after that person told you they were a victim to someone in a position of power is reprehensible. They might not be able to move on this time.
From stripper rumors to bestie sister-in-laws, viewers have seen it all from Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice on Real Housewives of New Jersey. This season has put Melissa in the middle of Teresa and her newest nemesis, Jackie Goldschneider. It’s been fascinating to watch Melissa flirt the line between supporting her actual friend, and the one she so unfortunately married into. Meanwhile her husband, Joe Gorga, will defend Tre no matter what.
At the same time, the drama between Joe Gorga and Joe Giudice is seemingly endless. But why exactly is it allowed for the Joes to physically fight and drag each other in the press while Melissa and Teresa need to hold hands and play nice? Where’s the fun in that?
I am loving Real Housewives of New Jersey this season. Of course, there is still bad blood between Melissa Gorga and Jennifer Aydin. Last season, Jennifer indulged her tequila monster and tossed a set of silverware at Melissa during a luncheon in the Hamptons.
During the Season 11 RHONJ premiere, newbie Michelle Pais dropped a bomb on Jennifer. She told her that Joe Gorga, Melissa’s husband, owed her husband “tens of thousands of dollars.” Michelle’s husband, Jonathan Steingraber, spoke at Joe’s “Growing with Gorga” event, but supposedly wasn’t paid.
Despite Jackie Goldschneider’s claim to be the new queen bee of Real Housewives of New Jersey, this show has, from day one revolved around Teresa Giudice. Half of the cast and alums were either family members or in her social circle. So maybe they all came in with a strong opinions, but each season repeats the theme. You’re either with Teresa or against her.
Everyone else just seems to be fillers. Whether they contribute anything to a story line independent of Teresa depends on what they bring to the table. And this season’s cast has been underwhelming in that regard, as they just ride each other’s outraged coattails.
Even though Joe Giudice hasn’t appeared (aside from on Teresa Giudice’s phone screen) on the Real Housewives of New Jersey since going to jail and getting deported, he stays central to the drama. Tre and Juicy might have called it quits after their stints “at camp,” but Joe is being more faithful to his ex than he ever was during their marriage. Particularly, Joe has taken any chance he could get to bash Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga in the press, so it’s messy as ever.
The fight came to a head during last week’s episode when Melissa and Joe called out Tre for always taking her ex’s side. Joey G. says he puts the blame on Joe Giudice for his mother’s early death. In case you forgot, their mother, Antonia Gorga, died on March 4, 2017. And then in April 2020 “Nonno” Giacinto Gorga passed away. Joe and Teresa have both said that’s far from the truth, which is a bit of a surprise, considering we know that Teresa did blame her ex for making her miss out on precious time with her parents.
Melissa Gorga and Jennifer Aydin have had a tense relationship on the Real Housewives Of New Jersey since the day Jen drunkenly broke a glass and aimed it at Mel. This season, it’s on a whole other level. Jen has fiercely sided with Teresa Giudice in her feud with Jackie Goldschneider. And despite her loyalty, she claims she doesn’t kiss her ass. But her co-stars disagree.
So we know Jen is definitely a Tre Hugger, and Melissa is one for trying to hold her sister-in-law accountable for her actions. Jackie says Jennifer is “obsessed” with RHONJ’s leading lady and will do anything for shock value. To be fair, Jennifer’s drunken antics at the pool party were the comic relief this season needed from all of the damning allegations being thrown around. While Margaret Josephs says Jen’s drinking is troublesome, Jennifer just says she likes to have a good time. And who doesn’t?
