This week Andy Cohen gifted fans with news of a “Bravo Kids” special that will be featured on an episode of Watch What Happens Live. The special includes Gia Giudice, Frankie Catania, Albie Manzo and Chris Manzo from Real Housewives of New Jersey, Brielle Biermann, Riley Burruss, and Kairo Whitfield (THANK YOU) from Real Housewives of Atlanta, Avery Singer and Victoria de Lesseps from Real Housewives of New York City, and of course OG kids Briana Culberson and Shane Keough (YES) from Real Housewives of Orange County.
The “kids” featured in this special all grew up on TV and probably had zero say in showing their awkward years on camera for millions of people. So, this could be awesome! While the show features our favorite Bravo kids, there are some noticeable names missing. Yolanda Hadid’s daughters, Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid are probably too busy being supermodels to show up on WWHL. But what about Kyle Richards’ daughters? Or Lisa Rinna’s? Nene Leakes’ kids? Or Jill Zarin’s daughter? Something tells me they’re dying to be included – and Andy has hinted as much without naming names.
Did anyone ever expect Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars Kenya Moore and Marlo Hampton to bury the hatchet? Their relationship hit a new low when Kenya crashed Marlo’s wig launch party with Kenya’s own hair care products and a marching band in tow.
During the South Carolina trip, the RHOA peaches celebrated Cynthia Bailey’s upcoming nuptials with an epic bachelorette party. The star was a stripper named Bolo. Two of the ladies allegedly got up and close and personal with Bolo, and Kenya was obsessed with finding out their identities. And Kenya doesn’t give a damn about girl code.
Marlo Hampton has put herself right in the middle of the years-long feud between Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams on the Real Housewives of Atlanta. And everyone knows that on RHOA, that’s pretty much the worst place to be.
It all started with Marlo’s questionable time befriending Kenya, as Kenya was embarking on a mission to expose who slept with Bolo at Cynthia Bailey’s rated-R bachelorette party. Yes, somehow they’re still caught up on figuring out who it was, and even though all signs point to Porsha, she refuses to fess up.
Latoya Ali was the lightning strike that Real Housewives of Atlanta needed this season, whether you like her or not. She’s in a complicated relationship with Kenya Moore that has everyone confused. She and Drew Sidora have gone back and forth since they first met. And she almost made Falynn Guobadia come at her with a golf club after she made disparaging comments about her husband.
While she might not be the best person to have as a friend, at least according to Porsha Williams, she’s great for RHOA. She brings Twirl out of her shell. She can turn even Falynn’s boring ass party into an event. And now she’s gotten into another battle with the cast about the reunion before it’s even aired.
You can’t get blood from a stone, but you can surely squeeze Bravo stunts for all they are worth. First we hear a Real Housewives All Stars project is in the works and now we have… Children of the Bravolebrities. If you aren’t staying awake at night wondering what haute couture Brooks Marks will release next, then who are you? Bravo has never ventured into these waters before, but it’s not a half bad idea. Why not hear from the people who never signed up to be on television?
While most of Bravo’s content stems from adults, often times the kids are the most level-headed. I’m looking at you, Gia Giudice. Some start out as toddlers and literally grow up before our eyes, venturing out into the real world and starting families of their own. They also have their fair share of challenges from cameras following them throughout their awkward years. Now Andy Cohen is giving fans the opportunity to catch up with some of the Bravo spawn and he has announced the line up. Spoiler alert, Milania Giudice got the shaft, but perhaps, that’s because she’s not 18 yet.
The true star of this otherwise dry season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta is Bolo the stripper. He performed at
COVID Cynthia Bailey’s bachelorette party (while hilariously wearing a face shield) and was a big hit among the women in more ways than one. Word on Kenya Moore’s street is that after the cameras turned off, a few women got up close and personal with the stripper.
It’s been the main plotline of the season. We have Drew Sidora vs. Latoya Ali debating about Drew’s behavior at the party. Kenya is doing anything she can to throw Tanya Sam and Porsha Williams under the bus for getting too close to Bolo. It’s also indirectly causing friction between Porsha and Marlo Hampton’s friendship. And maybe it’s all because Kenya is jealous she didn’t get some one-on-one time with Mr. Bolo.
There’s definitely something to love about each of our Real Housewives of Atlanta. As a group, these women consistently bring it season after season. That’s not to say the non-peach holders aren’t just as important. Marlo Hampton has certainly earned an honorable mention. This year, LaToya Ali and Falynn Guobadia have also brought some highly entertaining content. Faylynn running around her house with a head full of snakes trying to club Toya was PEAK.
Lucky for us, it seems LaToya and Faylynn will be at it with each other for a while following the Halloween party events. Earlier in the season, they both attended Kandi Burruss’ Kandi C.A.R.E.S food drive. At the time, it seemed the drama was focused around whether or not Kenya Moore donated to the cause. During the episode, Kandi mentioned not all of her friends were as giving as she had expected. Later we learned Kenya had actually gave a sizeable $5k to the cause. So who was being stingy with their dollars?
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta have hit the streets of the Big Easy, but it’s been a hard time. Marlo Hampton keeps finding herself stuck in the middle of Kenya Moore & Porsha Williams’ feud. Her newfound friendship with Kenya has put her in positions she never expected. She’s never been forced to pick sides between the two because in the past, she and Kenya were on the outs. We’re officially stepping into unknown territory.
The one thing that’s clear though is Kenya & Porsha will NEVER be friends. Whatever small blip of peace they had last season is out the window. This season has been nothing but ill will from both sides. Nobody whose side you’re on, on some level the constant toxicity between them must be draining. Normally, Porsha would be popping off at Kenya’s every move. However, this season she’s taking a laxer approach. Will paying Kenya dust pasy off in the end?
