People are still buzzing about the season finale of Soapnet’s Southern Belles: Lousiville, which revealed Jeff Stovall cheated on his fiance, Shea Johnson. To thicken the plot, the “other woman” just happened to be Louisville Judge, Katie King.
Katie had also appeared on previous episodes of the show due to cast member, Hadley, helping her with her campaign. The good folks at Springston blogspot (a blog about Louisville New & Politics) were able to get the above photo of Katie and Jeff. The picture was allegedly taken on July 10th during a birthday bash Katie threw for someone. Katie took down the pictures, but the Springston blogger was able to save a copy.
I wonder why Katie would take the pictures down if she had nothing to be ashamed of. And is it just me or does Katie look rather aged for being only 29 years old? Katie seems to be a rather controversial figure in the city of Louisville. There are rumors of drug use, as well as a supposed restraining order taken out against her by an ex boyfriend. Interesting.
There are also reports that Katie and Jeff are no longer together.

RealityTea….I don’t know how you do it! I live in NY, but heard the Katie King rumor AGES ago. I could never find anything more than the restraining order and Daddy’s connections. You gotta love having a photo though!! Nice work!
Initially I didn’t care for Shea on the show. I felt she pushed Jeff way too hard, but I soon realized that it wasn’t Shea I disliked as much as Jeff seemed, well, like a doofus. In the last episode, seeing the pain Jeff caused, I could sooner overlook a bridezilla than a sleazy cheater.
On the preview the week before, when the show foreshadowed Shea’s relationship demise, there was a shot of Hadley gasping and saying, “I feel like I caused this….” I guess because she brought Katie into their realm.
I don’t have Shea on my facebook, but I did read on one of the sites that she had a snide update about Miss King on Thursday night. Good for Shea. She looks terrific now.
This was taken just 2 weeks ago, so they are obviously still together. Jeff brought Katie King with him to Baltimore over Labor Day weekend to meet his friends. There are pictures of them together on the web. Jeff is a liar!

A Louisville activist has threatened to file a lawsuit if the “other woman” and her father are not under prosecutorial inquiry within 46 days. Wow, and I’ve never even heard of this show. Am I living under a rock or maybe I don’t get the channel it’s on?
For two people involved in careers of justice and honor, they are both hypocrits. For Jeff to claim there are two sides to every story does not negate that he cheated on shae. Katie king is also an idiot for getting involved with Jeff in the first place if she wanted to protect her career. I hope the people of louisville are careful in supporting her! Shae is better off without him!
I know both Katie and Jeff and although Shea makes it sound really bad it truely is not. Yes, Katie and Jeff are together and they met while Jeff was dating Shea. I met my soon-to-be wife while we were both dating other people and I don’t think the world stopped.
Shea is no better than the four of us either though. Why doesn’t someone talk about whos condo she is living in (the one that they show her crying about the loss of Jeff); I wonder if anyones wife recognizes that condo or if they even realize their husband owns it–at least thats the rumor around town, just like these rumors about Jeff and Katie.

I’ll correct your misleading statement and say Jeff started DATING Katie while he was still ENGAGED to Shea.
You say you met your fiance the same way, you both cheated on your significant other at the time. Well that’s hardly a defense for Katie and Jeff. Two wrongs don’t make a right. Good luck with your marriage, karma’s a bitch!
What Jeff did was cruel. What Katie did was stupid. Because let’s not forget, he was two-timing Katie too, with Shea. Jeff was lying to Katie and Shea. But Shea kicked his ass to the street—while Katie continues to date him. That’s why I think she’s stupid.

farmerphil; I wonder whether Katie’s alleged abortion in February 2008 has any bearing on this dialectic. Doubtless, the image of an expectant, unmarried, Roman Catholic judicial candidate would not have resonated with the show’s producer, much less Louisville voters, including Shea’s fiancé. But that’s another story for another time, isn’t it?
I did not care for Shea or at least how she was portrayed on this show. However, I am a compassionate person and I feel terrible for her and what she’s had to go through. I wish that kind of pain on no person. The fact that Jeff left Shea for an even bigger twit is a true testiment to his character. Katie King was elected because she was able to get her father’s bank to give her a second mortgage on her home and used the money to fund her campaign. Shady business.. This is why she’s under investigation as I write this. Further, she is known around town for being a psycho girl who requires restraining orders wand has been known to visit bathroom stalls at Saints to partake in some recreational drug use (sniff sniff). I don’t need to reiterate all the truth that came out during her campaign, but it’s just funny that she’s turned out to be the homewrecker in the Southern Belles drama. Typical. My best to her and Jeff -they deserve eachother!
Give me a break. Shea was acting like quite the witch the entire show. She was planning a wedding to a man who never proposed to her; taking a man ring shopping to pressure him into proposing; showing him rings that cost more than his entire annual salary and than some; her cold demeanor; her witchiniess to him and to others; her high demands and how she always had to get what SHE wanted; ETC ETC ETC.
While Jeff cheating was low, I can fully understand WHY. He was a cheater before Shea, during Shea, and will be after Shea…. once a cheater ALWAYS a cheater. Shea should have been wise enough to not even date him to begin with but she JUST HAD to have HER way.
I tell you what…. they were both in the wrong. However, I can’t say I blame Jeff as Shea is such a complete WITCH who is spoiled, bratty, high maintenance, and has no regards for anyone but herself. She deserves what came to her for the treatment she gave to Jeff. Let him decide when he’s going to propose… don’t FORCE him into it! Let HIM decide what ring he can AFFORD…. don’t FORCE him into making a purchase that will potentially cause him the second highest debt of his life… and DON’T be so unaffectionate and COLD to Jeff and then expect him to WANT to be with you for the rest of his life. You couldn’t pay me ANY amount of money to marry someone like Shea. She really needs to take a serious look at herself before casting stones.

If the condo situation is not correct as you say, please show some proof, because it is very easy to find out who owns property in Jefferson County and Shea’s name does not appear anywhere. In regards to them being “engaged”, I mean come on. The show bought the ring and set everything up and even brought him down here. That was not a true engagement. And if there were true feeling of love on Shea’s part, explain the condo…

Ha, I suspected that the show bought that ring. I mean, come on.. I know how much a newer associate makes in this town -even at one of the big firms. A $100K+ ring is not realistic.
Also, given the likelihood of this “reality” show being completely orchestrated, it seems pretty silly to speculate about the condo rumor. It’s far more likely that it was merely a “set” used to tape that segment of the last episode.
I live in Louisville. I remember the election. Katie is nothing but white trash with a rich daddy. She is not well respected within the community and I still have no clue how she was elected judge. I’m not at all shocked that she would date an engaged man. Let’s face it, whether the show paid for the ring or not he still proposed.
I agree about Katie’s reputation -she’s known for nothing good around town and is not respected at all in the legal community. Everyone thinks her being elected District Judge is a complete joke. As mentioned previously, she was only elected thanks to the 2nd mortgage her father’s bank (King Southern Bank) very suspiciously gave her right around fundraising time. Didn’t anyone wonder how she was able to fund her campaign with So few fundraising events? Further, you can check up on election laws, but I’ll tell you here that her campaign’s funding is not under investigation right now for no reason. Louisville can just hope she gets disrobed.

OK, Yes, Katie King has a horrible reputation in Louisville. She is not very attractive and does look older than her stated age. Shea , is overweight and might be attractive minus a few pounds; however, she is very annoying. The guy is a total loser REALLY. Hmmmm. I realy think all of them are losers………………………………

Shea may be getting help from a married male friend who loaned his condo but that doesn’t mean she is sleeping with him. I live in my friend’s condo and he’s a guy and I’m a woman but we have been friends for years and never dated or had sex. I have a boyfriend and he has a girlfriend of seven years. shea is amazing!!! friend, great in relationships, wonderful with kids, gives more than you could ever want, etc……basically, relationships either fail or succed, and even those whom succed still have thier problems! leave it alone. that turkey is done!!!!!
