Jon Gosselin continues to drop some bombshells in his recent verbal lashing of his estranged wife, Kate Gosselin.
In more of his interview with ABC News, Jon continues to trash Kate, claiming she took his wedding ring, may have had an affair with her bodyguard, and saying he despises her.
The Jon & Kate Plus 8 dad accuses Kate, 34, of “feeding into the frenzy” by appearing on magazine covers bashing him. “I despise [her] because she’s not speaking from the heart,” Jon tells ABC News. “Please — the stuff you tell me in private should be the stuff you tell me on TV.”
Jon also slams Kate for claiming she still wears her wedding ring because she doesn’t want to “upset” their eight children. Says Jon, “I think she still wears the ring for public perception. I don’t wear my ring because she took my ring. I don’t have it. ” He continues. “I laid it down one night. It was gone. Who else would take it? I checked all the — underneath my kids’ pillows. That’s where everything ends up in the house anyway. So it wasn’t there.”
Jon goes on to speculate that Kate might have had an affair with her bodyguard, Steve Neild. “I speculate, but I don’t know — that’s a general feel. You know, almost like when they were traveling together, I felt jealous,” he said. “Here, I’m Mr. Mom. And then there’s some other guy traveling with my wife. Whether it’s protection or not, it’s all in — it’s in the back of my mind.” Kate has always denied the affair rumors.
In a statement to ABC News, Kate attempts to take the high road saying: “While I certainly have a very different perception of how our marriage dissolved, for the sake of my children I maintain that I’m not going to go into details of aspects I believe should remain private.”

YES!! They should stop beating down each other, don’t they realize that some day their kids will read all about their, he said, she said? The more she talks, the more he talks, tit for tat, WHEN IS IT GOING TO END! AND THAT WHOLE PRIVACY THING BEGINS?
He probably lost his ring himself, or maybe Hailey got it? Oh there you go, blame the kids for taking the ring.

He’s a jerk. I am sorry but I used to feel bad for him but now I see why Kate was abrupt w/ him. It’s like listening to a 9 year old. Can you imagine trying to have a real convo w/ him, he’s so whinny. UGH! What a loser! Can we just have Kate plus 8, at least she’s trying to be semi-adult. UGH! What a mess!!
So Jon tells the whole world that he despises the mother of his eight children.
Then he claims that she stole his wedding ring, but if there’s a chance she didn’t, then he believes one or more of his children must be guilty. That he may have a faulty memory and perhaps misplaced it, does not even enter into the realm of possibility in his mini mind. “I laid it down one night. It was gone. Who else would take it?”
Well, I think this is definitely a case for Sherlock Holmes and Barney Fife.
Personally, if I were Kate, I would’ve taken his wedding ring, had it melted, then smelted, and designed into a charming little broach. Turned it into sort of a nice heirloom piece.
I’m with Stephanie about what may have happened to his wedding ring. Besides Hailey, any of those cute young chicks he’s been loving and leaving could’ve taken it, slipped it on a chain, and is now secretly wearing it next to her broken heart.
