Danielle Staub of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is now facing a lawsuit by her ex-husband, Kevin Maher.
Kevin has filed a lawsuit against Danielle on the basis of defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress. And yes, this is the same Kevin who wrote the tell all book, ‘Cop Without A Badge,’ revealing Danielle’s scandalous past as a drug user and escort.
The lawsuit is based on an interview Danielle gave PEOPLE magazine in June 2009, during which she called Kevin a rapist and a dog murderer.
Kevin– who was married to Danielle in the late 80s — told E! News, “I am filing a lawsuit against my ex-wife, Danielle Staub, stemming from her allegations that I raped her on a bed of broken glass, inserted my handgun inside her and played Russian Roulette, and last but not least, killing her dog by way of hanging it,” Maher states. “She also threatened me on the reunion show that Bravo aired.”
Kevin says he’s receieved “serious and outrageous threats” since the article was released.

Danielle is probably twinkly-toed delighted that her ex-husband is placing the spotlight back on her again by suing her for defamation. Lying, once again, is paying off for her. It’s doubtful much will come of the lawsuit, since both are public figures now and he put himself out there when he wrote about her in his book.
Speaking of everyone’s concern about the Gosslin kids, Danielle’s daughters need someone overseeing their welfare, especially with their father apparently still missing in action and her at the reigns.
BEST thing for Danielle as well as a couple others.. (i’m not saying any names… This article is About Danielle, that is why I say her… But Non the less,, these women need to get AWAY from this Life style.. I read the book ‘Cop Without A Badge’. If I remember it correctly, Kevin saved Danielle’s butt. If he hadn’t intervened, she would have gone to jail. She was the one that told him about the charges against her and what happened. The way she puts it, you would think that he knew that she would be on a reality show years later. She was a part of his life and this book is actually based on his life as an informant. The truth hurts, doesn’t it Beverly. GFood Luck on your lawsuit Kevin.
Danielle needs to be committed to an ASYLUM for the rest of her life!……..
